The hotel is also in a very quiet location, but nevertheless within very easy walking distance of the city centre, and at the same time quite easily accessible by car.
Great location, extremely clean and well maintained and a decent price.
The area was quiet, the location was excellent - the hotel building was beaautiful - excellent view of historic Salamanca - especially impressive lit up at night and the staff were very helpful.
Good area, underground private parking and i enjoyed our stay at the Abba Fonseca as was very comfortable.
If you are arriving by bus, it is the closest hotel to the bus station, maybe a 10 minute walk (if you're tied down with luggage).
The bed was most comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well equipped and the room was spotless.
We had a HUGE bed, a bay window, a separate hallway for the closet and safe, and a thoroughly modern bathroom with all the amenities.
Comfortable bed and everything was very clean.
The rooms are a good size with all of the modern conveniences and the bathrooms are very large.
Our bathroom was huge, sparkling clean, with lots of fluffy white towels, a blowdryer, etc.
Excellent bar facility and very generous breakfast.
It should also be said that the many bars in the city centre provide an excellent and much more original alternative for breakfast - for example, try Torres on Plaza Mayor for a (small) Spanish breakfast and then tuck in more heartily for lunch.
We did not have dinner at the restaurant because there are so many other good places to eat near the Plaza.
The breakfast costs 12 € and it has the best quality: Jam, "Chorizo",.
The only letdown was, in my opinion, the breakfast, which was a bit meagre for the price EUR 12.
Top location very friendly staff, very convenient for sight seeing in Salamanca and i would only expect a better knowledge of english from the reception desk people.
Location was very convenient, the hotel had a wonderful view looking up tothe two cathedrals of Salamanca and the reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Central location, all this makes stay in hotel unforgettable and the reception desk staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
Clean surroundings, excellent value and efficient and friendly reception staff.
The hotel has also parking and free SPA for the guests.
For those wanting to relax in the hotel, there is a gym that seemed well equipped and a spa/jaccuzi/massage service (a real one, not the dodgy version) at their disposal, all of which seemed to be in mint condition (although we tried none of it).
Be aware that as in most Spanish hotels, you have to pay for the hotel garage, but we avoided that by parking in the street behind the hotel.
The hotel room was extraordinarily large for european standards (large for US standards also) and very clean.
The rooms are huge, clean, confortable and quiet rooms.
