The best part was it is located only a mile from Downtown San Antonio, which made it a quiet location as well as one that is easily accessible to the Riverwalk (which I love, by the way).

The location was close to the River Walk without the high cost of a room, the shuttle van that took guests from the hotel to downtown was a great addition and rick at the front desk was helpful and nice.

Wonderful host-convenient location - clean room=frigµwave and that's just San Antonio.

Kudos to the owner for driving to the airport twice to pick me up after a slight miscommunication that was probably my fault.

We were picked up at different times at the airport by Rick the owner of the Alamo Inn who was always available for us when we needed a ride to The Riverwalk, St.

Room 15 was clean, and bed was very comfortable.

Bed was very comfortable, the owner was very friendly.

The room was very clean and the beds comfortable.

The bed was hard as a brick and the pillows were like pancakes.

Bathroom was very clean, we asked for some extra towels and blankets and they gave us plenty.

The breakfast consisted only of coffee, rolls and cold cereal.

Motel is close to a supermarket and Walgreens Drug store.

We were very pleased with the service we received from the staff.

Additionally professional service were amazing, the owner/manager was very helpful and friendly, were able to get into the room.

The internet site gave us the impression was clean, operated by a courteous staff saw to that I was well taken care of and the owners were absolutely fantastic.

They provided shuttle service to the Riverwalk which made it reallly easy to plan our day.

I think families need to know that there is no pool and no place nearby to walk to for food or entertainment.

They do offer a free shuttle which worked out perfeclty for us!

The shuttle runs hourly so that worked out well.

We particularly liked the shuttle service to the downtown area, clean rooms they have at the alamo inn and owners are very friendly.

Furthermore clean rooms they have at the alamo inn.

Free shuttle into city, the market square and the room is clean.

Motel is a small property, but our rooms was very clean.

If you are on budget like us you would like their free shuttle, and clean room.
