I stayed here while attending a congress in the Presidente Intercontinental. This is a nice hotel with ample rooms, nice and comfortable overall. I have some problems with my Orbitz reservation, because I arrived in a festive day (May 1st) and the reservation staff didn't work that day. I have to leave a deposit, which they returned me the next day. The staff is not helpful, and barely talks to you. They didn't even told me where my room was.
When I arrived to my room, the sheets have strange stains, which they changed later. They have a nice selection of channels, the bathroom worked fine, and I have a good minibar. The hotel also has a big gym. It was noisy in the night.
Pros: Ample rooms and nice bathrooms.
Cons: Unfriendly staff. They need to be more professional.

Fine business class hotel but your need ear plugs if you stay over the weekend.

I spent the weekend here with my partner, who was on business. It was a first of dozens of trips to this hotel that involved a weekend and I thought it would be fun for me to join.
The hotel is a fine business class hotel. We were on the Executive floor which was comfortable. However, there is a club at Expo Guadalajara called La Camelia that plays loud music all night long. On Friday night, I moved to the floor of the bathroom to sleep and at 2:40 am finally demanded a room change as it was nuts to feel as though my room was in the middle of a band music fest. The desk could only say it is always bad on weekends but worse for guests of the Hilton.
Then the room was fine. Walls are paper thin and you can hear all in the room next to you, but guests are business level and not there to party so not a problem.
Service is OK. Odd that there is a free continental breakfast set up for the Executive floor but the coffee machine was unplugged both days. However, your wake up call comes with an orange juice and pot of coffee so I cannot complain there.
This hotel and the Hilton should have some degree of influence to get that La Camelia bar to keep its noise down to a reasonable level. The bar is across a wide avenue and down the block a bit so it is nuts that it was so loud in my room.
