I was very pleasantly surprised with Granada in general, and this hotel made it even better. Very centrally located - on a main corner with lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Rooms were nice, and the staff happily held our bags for the second day since we had a night train to Barcelona the second evening. When we left, we needed taxis - and the bellman called them, made sure they showed up, loaded our bags and refused a tip!

Hotel was just OK. Went back/forth about where to stay and decided on Hotel NH Victoria based on rates/TA. We checked in and it was easy. They offered me upgrade so obviously said yes. What they didn't say is that there would be a 25 Euro fee (it was in Spanish behind check in counter but who was looking) so fine, checked in, had an OK room, can't imagine what I WAS going to be in. Location was great but very noisy. Could hear people talking/laughing (they party late in Spain) till wee hours of the night. We asked 3 times for towels and never got them. Didn't eat so can't review food. If to do Granada again would do day trip or stay outside of city, not necessary to be in city. Quaint city but really it's all about the Alhambra - Stunning and BOOK tickets in advance - thanks TA for that advice.

Spent 2 weekend nights here--had an upgraded room with king bed and a private sitting area in the internal courtyard. Booked on line with the hotel, no problems with the reservation. Very quiet and comfortable, slept well. No noise whatsoever, even on a Saturday night.
Generous bathroom amenities. Friendly housekeeping and helpful staff at Reception. Had a nice breakfast at the hotel once to save time--buffet is extensive and convenient, but price is not included with the room.
For drivers, the hotel has an excellent situation for parking with a 24 hour guarded public garage under the hotel, allowing direct access via lift to the lobby. (Price is not included with the room) Fairly straightforward hotel access to and from the motorway.
Hotel is in a great location for the pedestrian shopping areas, Plaza Bib-Rambla, and the Cathedral/Royal Chapel. Major post office across the street made it super easy to mail packages home and lighten our luggage. Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

This is a very comfortable hotel in a good location. This is an NH hotel and they are always comfortable, clean and smart. It was in a busy place (Puerta Real) but noise was not a problem. Our room was great - everything you might need was there,
We did not have breakfast at the hotel - instead we went to Pasteleria Lopez-Mesquita across the road in Reyes Catolicos and had marvellous coffee and pastries - top quality - in great surroundings - very traditional and very popular with the locals.
It was very easy to get a taxi or little bus up to the Albaicin at any time of the day. We did toy with the idea of staying in the Albaicin area where there are very characterful hotels but we were glad we stayed here because it was so comfortable.
We had booked our trip to the Alhambra online before we left home and it all worked out well as you can pick your date and time of entry. It was an incredible experience - an amazing sight! We had dinner in a carmen I think it was Las Tomasas which overlooked the Alhambra which was lit up at night - it was magical. The food was a little disappointing but the view and the terrace were atmospheric. We had a good dinner at Restaurante Sevilla near the Royal Chapel. A small dining room but very traditional and charming.
There were great sights to see but would not have managed so well without Rick Steves book - it put the whole of Granada in perspective - buses, taxis, sights, restaurants, cafes, layout of the city and opening times for everything, never leave home without it. Off to Cordoba next on early train. We would stay at this hotel again.
