Metro y taxis a doquier.

If you want somewhere to stay that is clean, with good-sized rooms and excellent value for money then I can highly recomend this hotel.
The rooms were comfortable and well equipped, the en-suite bathroom was large and spotless.
The town and all the sites are within walking distance.
The only down side was the bar remained empty and unstaffed throughout our stay. However, with so many excellent and cheap bars within walking distance that stayed open all night, it was not an issue.
I would also highly recommend the cafe opposite that serves delicious coffee and toasted sandwiches.
Madrid is wonderful and I am definately returning again this year - I will also be staying at the Embajada again.

This hotel is in a nice location very close to the metro.
When we first arrived we found that, although our flights had been booked, the website we had used to book the hotel as well had not booked our rooms! The reception staff were extremely helpfull & we had everything sorted at no extra cost to us within 20 minutes. The hotel was very clean and well kept.
The rooms were an average size and the bed was very comfortable. The decoration was contemporary and in keeping with the overall design of the hotel.
The only downpoints were that the bar was not manned while we were there and the restaurant seemed quite pricey so we ate out! However, this was no hardship as there are plenty of local bars and restaurants to choose from.
