El Deusto queda muy a mano para el Guggenheim (un agradable paseo de 5 minutos junto al río), pero está un poco alejado de la ciudad vieja. El menú de precio fijo del restaurante y el bufé del desayuno eran bastante baratos y el personal del restaurante era amable y atento. Por desgracia, el recepcionista no lo era. La decoración del dormitorio es muy anticuada y los accesorios del baño están ajados. El secador no funcionaba y las cortinas de red estaban inmundas. Nos quejamos y vino la gerente, pero no pudo hacer nada con lo de las redes. No hubo manera de encontrar un restaurante para cenar por la zona.

The Deusto is very convenient for the Guggenheim (nice 5 minute stroll along the river) but some way from the old city. The restaurant fixed price lunch and buffet breakfast were good value and the restaurant staff friendly and helpful. Sadly, the receptionist was not. The bedroom decor is very dated and the bathroom fittings tired. The hairdryer was broken and the net curtains were absolutely filthy. Our complaint brought the housekeeper but she obviously couldn't do anything about the nets. We didn't manage to find any restaurant nearby for dinner.

Spending 1 night just few days ago with my 2 children... A good value as the hotel is clean and mostly modern. Car park is not free but there are room in the street near by. Bedroom was clean, well equipped, the bath room too, exept the hair dryer which stayed on the on position all the night: some tape given by the reception will be used to make it stopped! The buffet breakfast was enough, and the staff courteous...

Just happened to drive past the Hotel de Deusto after looking at other (unsatisfactory) options. Our hotel guidebook quoted a high rate but when we enquired at reception they gave us a very good price - the accommodation was superb - very clean and comfortable with good facilities: en-suite, fridge, air-con, satellite TV, underground car-park, room service, and, to the delight of our boys, Sony Playstation. We had two rooms with communicating doors - very handy for a family. The restaurant is okay but not exceptional - better to find somewhere in the city, though breakfast was good. Highly recommended.
