Siamo stati per circa 7 giorni presso l'Hotel Baia. La nostra più totale soddisfazione è di come siamo stati trattati, venivamo da una struttura della zona (pari categoria ma NON PARAGONABILE come servizi e arredamento). Un amico, che ha soggiornato ad Agosto, ci ha raccontato che tutti i giorni veniva servito in camera uno stuzzichino a volte dolce a volte salato, talvolta delle creme particolari o carpaccio di frutta...., brioscine fatte a mano, etc...ect. sempre una cosa diversa ogni giorno (lo trovavano al rientro dal mare) . Sempre questi amici ci avevano detto che questo piccolo pensiero fosse solo riservato ad Agosto, e quindi noi non lo davamo per scontato. INVECE......al rientro in albergo (arrivati alle ore 14,00 e subito ne abbiamo approfittato per tuffarci in una piccola zona a 150 metri dall'albergo) come aperto la porta della camera abbiamo notato lo stuzzichino ben fatto e molto gustoso, e poi anche il ripasso della camera, con una parte molto curata del copriletto (non sappiamo come ha fatto la Signora) ma abbiamo trovato una forma di Rosa sul letto. Potremmo scrivere anche altre cose, ma credeteci.......quello che abbiamo avuto qui non lo abbiamo trovato in altri alberghi. Ci siamo sentiti molto coccolati........Un frase molto bella della Buona Notte che ricorderemo è stata " La Misura dell'Amore è amare senza Misura"....Ci ritorneremo e lo consiglieremo.

We just returned from the Cilento coast and had a great time. We loved the Hotel Baie. It is a small hotel with a very friendly atmosphere .The staff particularly Madelina were anxious to help us with touring plans and restaurant recommendations whenever we needed them.Our room was a little small but had a great view of the sea.It was very clean and comfortable.The location of the hotel was perfect for us being just a few minutes walk to the pedestrian street where eveyone gathers in the evenings. We found the breakfast adequate.The outside terrace however was a wonderful place to start the day. When a lot of people showed up at the same time,the two people serving could have used some help. They have a shuttle service taking you to their private beach.We had a car so we drove for about ten minutes and were happy to find that we got parking,seats and umbrellas at no additional charge.I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again .

We were transtered to the Baia Hotel by our holiday rep as our booked hotel Il Gabbiano was unsuitable.Upon arrival at The Baia Hotel we were greeted by very freindly and helpfull staff in a lovely reception area. As we entered our room we could see a magnificent sunset through our window. Our room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated and included a tv, safe and mini bar. During our holiday the hotel was beautifully presented and every member of staff couldn`t have been friendlier or more helpfull and even though we spoke very little italian they gave us a first class service with a smile. There was a lovely beach a short walk away and the hotel has a private beach further away that the staff offered to take us to and from.The hotel is well situated for local shops,restaurants and bars, the resort of Palinuro is very friendly and relaxing though I understand it becomes busier and livelier later in the season. I would certainly go back to the Baia and would recommend it to anybody A big thankyou to the Baia and all its staff.

We were asked by our holiday rep to view the "Baia" as the hotel we had booked the Il Gabbiano, was unsuitable and we were going to change resort. When we arrived at the "Baia" we were met by two very friendly members of staff and given tea and snacks. We were shown around different rooms and offered whichever one we wanted. The room we chose overlooked the beautiful Palinuro Bay and the famous sunset. The members of staff were so friendly and the hotel so clean and fresh we gladly agreed to remain in the resort at the Baia. Throughout our stay we found all the staff very helpful and interested in what we were doing each day, they offerred help and advice as the Holiday rep had become ill and the emergancy 24hr number switched off. The hotel staff were professional in their duties but still made us feel like one of the family. The breakfasts were well presented with fresh bread, fruit and meat each morning, we did not eat evening meals in the hotel but on some mornings were shown the fresh fish for preparation for the evening time. The Baia is a clean, fresh well positioned hotel, near to the junction of the two main streets and close to the beach although it does have it's own private beach which the hotel will transport you to. The staff are as I said earlier very friendly and always helpful. The resort of Palinuro is laid back and restful, a bit like the extreme West of Ireland only with great weather. We would have no hesitation in returning to the Baia if visiting Palinuro again
