The Priory of Lady St. Mary- with its peaceful and tranquil setting alongside the River Frome- dates from the early sixteenth century and stands in four acres of beautifully landscaped gardens with commanding views of the Purbeck Hills and countryside. Steeped in history- The Priory has undergone sympathetic conversion to an English country house hotel- whilst retaining much of the buildings original character and charm.
The hotels eighteen en-suite guest rooms- have been individually furnished and decorated- giving each its own unique feeling. Guest rooms are available both in the main house and in the hotels Boathouse; located just a short distance from the main hotel building directly on the riverbank.
