We stayed at this hotel from April 18 to 21. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel from the very moment I stepped foot in the lobby. The lobby is great and well-kept. Everyday the workers would sweep and wipe the floors. As it is the standard for everything that you do around Mexico, tipping goes a long way to keeping your room clean and bed made. We left $2 each morning and then when we would come back from the beach or whatever, everything was like when we first checked in. As for food, although we didn't buy the all-inclusive option, the few times we ate at the restaurant we were pleased with the selection of food and the prices were acceptable. The staff was always friendly and tried to help you whenever you had a question. The only issue we had was the language. They didn't speak English all that well, but because I knew a little bit of Spanish I picked in South America I chose to speak with them in Spanish. The room was rather large with a view of the ocean. At night we had a crystal clear picture of the waves crashing up against the shore with the moon in the background. All in all, it was definitely a good experience and I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We went here to celebrate our college spring break. From the first moment, the staff made us feel very welcome. I never expected a trip to Cancun to be a cultural experience, but it was. We met very few Americans at the Bel Air, and spend lots of time hanging out with our new Mexican and Argentine friends and practicing Spanish. After walking three miles up the beach, we decided that the beach in front of the Bel Air was the best we had seen. It had few rocks, a lifeguard, and was wide and clean. The room was lovely and well kept. Overall, the hotel had a very relaxing feel. Riding the bus to the Hotel Zone is easy and always felt safe, even at four in the morning. It was great to be able to relax during the day and party hard at night.
The food was mostly delicious, especially the cream soups and fajitas. Alfonso, Norberto and Freddie were wonderful during our entire stay. Service was extremely slow, which got frusterating at times, but one needs to remember that they are on vacation and that Mexico time is a little slow. I would definetely reccomend this hotel to a friend.
