Went to Bakersfield with my boyfriend for a night away. Decided to stay in the medium size spa suite - which was fantastic! The room is huge and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. I loved the pillows. The spa tub was fantastic! It took a little bit to figure out, but made the decision to stay at the Wyndham worthwhile. I booked on the phone with Melodee who was extremely pleasant and very accommodating. If you're going to be in Bakersfield, treat yourself (or have your company treat you) to the Wyndham. . . I would definitely stay here next time I go up for "Date Night at The Crystal Palace." My only complaint is that there was a large bug in the tub when we got into the room. . . My boyfriend took care of it and after that, it was a very pleasant stay. TV is nice, bed is great, spa tub rocks. . . I really enjoyed being here.

this hotel was great. they let me check-in early. big flat screen t.v. in my room. the beds were more comfortable than the ones at my house. lol. they serve starbucks coffee in the hotel. wow. and there is also a bar, and gym in the hotel. had a great time staying there. will recommend to anyone to stay there

WOW. This is easily the nicest Wyndham I have stayed in. The room was huge, and as nicely decorated as any room I can remember. I travel every week and this is the most comfortable bed I have EVER enjoyed at a hotel. The flat screen tv is a nice touch, work space is great, two ceiling fans were nice as well. The only challenge is that there is not a full-service restaurant in the hotel. There is a bar with sandwiches for lunch and dinner, and a cafe that serves hot breakfast. I'm not sure I'll be in Bakersfield any time soon, but the Wyndham can count on my visit when I am there!

Great hotel. Looks like any other b'field hotel on the outside but on the inside it is a bit nicer. The staff was fantastic and they upgraded me to a hot tub room without me even asking! The hot tub room has a huge two person tub that is a lot of fun to soak in. Behind the tub is a waterfall painting on the wall that is rather tasteless and very Renoesque. The rest of the room looks nice. I took off a star for the breakfast I got. I bought a mocha and it was terrible and then I got an egg and cheese bagel and it tasted really weird. They have an ok gym but the cool think is they will give you a 24 hour fitness pass free!

Wyndham Garden has the most comfortable bed & bedding you can find in a hotel! Great wireless high speed internet service. Also the shower was a real shower, nice and strong water pressure & temperature control. Its not a pretty place with a wonderful view, just a good place to stay when in Bakersfield.
