This hotel is great value for money. It's right downtown, close to the bars on Chippewa and the sporting events at HSBC Area and Dunn Tire Park. You can walk every where you need to go. The service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The general appearance is a little dated but it's still very clean. The room was nice, up-to-date bedding, older carpet, clean bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. The views are a little lacking, but you can still see the lake if you request it. The pool and gym are great, and there is an out door tanning area but it doesn't look that useful. The food is good, but the breakfast buffet is a little pricey at $13. The pub has decently priced beer at $3 but you can find that pretty well anywhere in Buffalo. Overall I would totally recommend this hotel and plan on returning on my next trip to Buffalo. You can't beat less than $150/night!

I recently spent 3 nights at the Adams Mark on business. Originally, the only reason I was staying there was because I couldn't get the government rate at the Hyatt or the Hampton Inn. I hadn't stayed at the Adam's Mark for more than 6 years mainly because it needed renovations back then. Well, they have since renovated it and I was pleasantly surprised. My room was nice, clean, and quiet. The free Internet access in the room was a big plus. As part of the government rate, I got free breakfast each morning which was really good. I ate dinner at the main hotel restaurant one night and was a bit disappointed by the limited menu. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

After reading some of the reviews I was really worried about this hotel but as it turned out we were pleasantly surprized. The hotel was not 5 star by any means but the hotel was clean, the rooms need a bit of updating but still a value for the price and the beds were very comfortable. The workout facilities are lacking - only one weight in each size range and the cardio equipment is really old. The service was really good. If you are looking for a good value - this hotel works

The hotel is in dire need of a renovation. It looks like it hasn't changed a bit since 1983. The room is basically dirty. The sheets are dirty. And the glasses and mugs in the bathroom where quite obviously cleaned with Windex. If there's a better choice in Buffalo, I'd take it.

My family and I stayed in the hotel June 29, 2008. What a terrible experience! The roomed smelled like boiled cabbage, there was a half empty bottle of hotel lotion under the bathroom sink, the bathroom floor was dirty, there was trash in the waste baskets, the pillows were stained and the floor had not been vacuumed! The hotel alarm went off 2 times - (complete with fire trucks and hotel guests evacuation) which the staff handled calmly and professionally. However, why weren't hotel guests comped with free breakfast or lunch for their troubles? What a terrible experience!
