I have been to Best Westerns before and this one is outdated and terrible. We stayed there for my son's family day graduation from boot camp at Fort Knox and it was expensive for what we received in service. There we no towels in the room when we checked in. The mattresses were old I checked for bed bugs immediately and found an MnM candy on the floor. The ice buckets do not have lids. The lobby obviously has been updated and looks very nice but once you get to your room it is old and has rusted brass lamps and outdated plumbing. This place is in need of a desperate renovation. My son's suite with his family had many problems, The jacuzzi (which is the bathtub) had to be repaired and they had no heat. The maintenance man was called out to their room twice. The hotel did give them half off after all that. I do not recommend this hotel it is not worth the money.

this budget hotel is in an upscale end of Louisville, right on US42 off I264. its only a few bucks more than staying downtown or in indiana, but its nice safe and quiet here. free wireless internet is great to keep up w/ your email while traveling. nice indoor pool and outdoor pool. the free daily continental breakfast buffet includes toast, donuts, muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice and several varieties of tea. very friendly staff. also, we stayed here because we needed 3 beds (2+rolaway which was ok)

This hotel has a very nice pool , but the rooms were not very clean and the whole place needs an update.

Don't stay here. This is easily the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I don't in hotels all that often. The floors in our room were damp, like someone had just run a wet vac in the place (they had not). When we arrived you could almost choke on the exteme amount of lemon air sanitizer in the air. After a few more hours the scent was so musty that you almost wish you had sanitizer smell back! The ceilings were low, and the AC barely worked. We asked for another room, but, of course, they were all booked up! No getting our money back either. This place was a DUMP!

Very old property with 'rennovations' not apparent. Beds were lumpy, carpet was filthy and not well vacuumed. The pool water was cloudy and did not appear clean. The rooms have doors to exterior hallways and did not shut without excessive slamming. Guest rooms and pool areas were not adeqately supplied with towels (one bath towel for a family of four) and the front desk was completely apathetic - even after numerous requests for more towels, better vacuuming, etc. Would not stay here again if it was the last place within 100 miles.
