Please head my warning! Do not waste your money.Pictures online are not the real deal. Room was nasty, found kids shoe and sock left behind and 4yr old found prescription pill on floor so there is no way room was cleaned like it should have been.Stayed 5 nights, had maid service only 2 times and had to ask for towells, and other things. Wife vacumed room after 3rd day herself when the maids left vacum unattended. The outside of motel is pretty but thats the only thing going for the Caravelle.I wish I could write everything that needs to be told but dont have enough room. If you dont want to ruin your vacation Please stay somewhere else or dont stay on the 7th floor.Oh and for the people giving the Caravelle a good review, dont understand how they got because it was absolutely one of the worst trips my family has ever been a part of. Will NEVER EVER EVER go back to the Caravelle, Will pitch a tent before that happens. Hope this review will change your mind if you are cosidering a stay here. Have a good day!

Couldn't ask for more. The hotel room was very nice and especially clean. The view from the room was spectacular. My grandson had a really good time at the pools. He enjoyed all of them. Plus, we were right there on the beach.
We had one little problem, the staff took care of it immediately.
This is the second time we stayed here and are ready to book for next year.

Where shall we start? I researched booking this hotel on several sites, but decided on The Caravelle Resort Hotel after viewing the virtual tour. The room was dirty. There was food from the previous tenant in the microwave, used soap in the bathtub, the floor didn't look like it had been vacuumed in a week, the coffee pot had burnt coffee in the bottom of it, so needless to say, this didn't start us off on the right foot. The one bedroom oceanview condo had a two person love seat and that was the only seating there was, other than at the table. The air conditioner leaked causing the carpet to be wet. The drain in the bathtub you had to manually hold up until it had almost completely drained. It was not worth the money. Last year I stayed in a 3 bedroom condo in Florida for 7 nights for the same price that I stayed in a 1 bedroom at the Caravelle for 5 nights.
There were 2 things that were nice - the pool and the value of the family fun package. Overall, I will not return and I would not recommend it to a friend.

We arrived before check in and the office staff went ahead and gave us our parking pass and pool bracelets. I thought that was pretty nice. That night in our room, we noticed the living room a/c was not working properly, the dust on the vent in the bathroom looked like it had been there since the building was built, the ceiling in the living room had broken plaster and the door to our room was broken. If you had the sliding glass door open, ( we have 2 children) the door would slam shut and you had to be careful not to have your fingers in the way.
We stayed here frequently before the renovations. I was disappointed in our stay this time.

We were not impressed with our oceanfront suite. The bathroom had a very slow drain and there were holes in the wall, especially around the Murphy bed. There were no kitchen towels or bags for the trashcan. I bought towels and they were picked up by housekeeping. Also the elevators are VERY slow. Actually, there aren't enough elevators for the number of rooms. You shouldn't plan on being able to checkout on time if you use the elevator to get your luggage down to the bottom floor. The quickest elevator is the beach elevator in the back of the motel. The trip was for my daughters graduation. We had stayed 6 years ago and were pleased, so we thought it would be better since they had a renovation.
