Went to watch LFC play in Euro Cup. The hotel staff were helpfull and the room was clean apart from dirty foot prints on the wall by the bed. We stayed in room 320 and our freinds in room 302 had similar strange footprints on there wall so this makes me think the dutch sleep with ther clogs on. The room had very little storage space and no coffe tea making in the room. The tea/coffee was in the hotel lobby but was either cold or empty.
Bit of a walk into town. Good reasonable priced chinese restaurant left out of hotel 30 yards away. Dont now how the dutch dish out star ratings but this hotel was not as good as the premier inn we stayed in Dover on the journey out . Just about made the 3 star low end in my opinion and was very over priced.

Check-in on arrival was quick. The reception staff were friendly - in fact, all the staff were friendly. Quite surprised that this hotel has a 4* rating, as the room we had (302) was a similar standard to the average Ibis hotel. We've never had such a "basic" room in any hotel of 4* rating - and having come from a 4* rated hotel in Amsterdam that morning, to say the bedroom was stark is rather an understatement.
It was a good sized room, to be fair, but the shower room was a little small. There were shoe prints up the wall over the bed (and I've been wondering about those since!), the bath towels has holes in and the washbasin had no plug (maybe water conservation is not such a concern in Holland, though, as in the UK!).
Stayed at this hotel for one night. We had gone for a match, so all the local hotels had a captive audience, but to be charged the full rack rate of €150/"room only" basis was pretty expensive. Had it had been more realistically priced, perhaps we would have felt less disappointed. All in all, we picked this hotel because it was reasonably handy for the PSV football ground (about 20 minutes walk away). And don't foresee any reason to need to return.

Hotel Pierre is family-owned and very welcoming. It is also extremely clean (the manager is very proud on this!) with plenty of fresh towels and a great shower. Breakfast is a massive buffet, and they have a cosy restaurant where you can eat a good meal for about 15 Euros. About 100 m from the hotel is a local cinema with a late night bar (around Eindhoven there are many local breweries) where you can relax with the locals. The bus to the Philips Research High Tech campus stops nearly in front of the hotel. Hotel Pierre is a 10 min cycle ride from beautiful countryside.

Me and friends stayed in the Best Western Hotel Pierre in early september. We were in town to watch Holland V Belarus (football match). We thought the hotel must be good seeing as the Belarus National football team were also staying there. The hotel is situated out of the city centre, about a 20mins walk from the city. There is public transport to link you up to the city. I suggest you get a city map from the train station information point. The hotel was very nice and defo 4 star. The rooms were good size and massive twin beds. The hotel staff were very helpful and there seem to be a good selection at breakfast! I did not have it though!
The one thing i will warn to young people is that Eindhoven has very little to offer, compared to Amsterdam!! We went there for a football match and apart from PSV ground, not much to see! Seems to be good amount of shops. My advice would be to get the train to Amsterdam only 1 1/2 hours away and costs 30 euros return.
