Nice hotel, looks a little like an industrial building - almost like a factory. It is somewhat far from town - it's actually a suburb, called Sant Joan Despi. It was convenient for us, as we didn't want to be in the center of town, where it's noisy and there is traffic. An unpleasant surprise we got was two small beds, as opposed to the one we were expecting. When I told the hotel staff about it, they told me they physically don't have any rooms with one bed. That sounded odd. The manager on duty was very nice, and she has apologized a number of times, however that does not change the fact, that we had to put those beds together and sleep like that for 2 nights, until we went to Madrid. Breakfast is ok - typical Spanish selection. The parking garage is very convenient. The little travel soap box in the bathroom is a nice touch. Long story short - if it had rooms with normal beds, I would consider staying there again.

we have just returned from this hotel after a 3 night stay. was really worried as there were no reviews on this hotel anywhere so i was really worried how we was going to get around as it seemed miles away from central barcelona. well!!!!!!!! had no worries at all. got a taxi from outside the airport took about 20mins cost 22 euros. hotel was not noisy and was soundproofed anyway. the rooms were really modern and had plenty of space. bathrooms were stunning and all the towels and linen were white cotton and so clean. i could not believe our luck for such a small amount of money. sant joan despi was so lovely and the locals were so friendly full of tapas bars but not overun with tourists at all. Although all the bars were nice one in particular kept calling at us!!. Frankfurt bar was only a short walk from the hotel it was out of the hotel turn left, over the roundabout and turn right 4 turnings down walk to the end where you pick up the tram and its to the left of the tram stop. We were given free tapas and the burgers are so cheap and great taste. the couple who run the bar could not do enough for us and even made us toasties and coffee at 9am after a late night there the night before. ticket T10 is a good buy but in hinsight we should have brought the 2 or 3 day pass as we used the metro tram and overground train lots. its so easy getting about from the hotel. also the airport train from sants main train station is FREE you just ask the staff on the barrieres for airport and they give you a free ticket that works both ways. We have no faults with the hotel and would stay there again without doubt it was fantastic and soooo quite as appossed to rambles hotels so glad did not stay in town now WELL DONE HUSA VIA
