This hotel does not have air conditioning, even though their ads and website suggest that they do. There is a heater with a fan in it, that they turn on if you ask for it, but it does not cool the room.
We stayed on the top floor which was about 10C hotter than the outside temperature, and was very uncomfortable in summer. Things were made worse because when you opened the window there was a lot of street noise, and noise from the nightclub down stairs.
Three nights of trying to cool ourselves with wet towels and we relented and left for the 4 star hotel across the road.
The television is very small, and has virtually no English channels and if there was Pay TV, we couldn't find it.
Bathrooms were modern and well appointed.
The breakfast is not a western style breakfast, with none of the hot breakfast staples like eggs or bacon (though the latter is understandable given Turkey is a Muslim country). The tomato's and white cheese do make for a good Turkish breakfast.
The hotel features free wifi and the staff speak pretty good English. The laundry service is very cheap at this hotel.
The hotel itself is located directly behind the all imposing Hilton Hotel, which blocks any chance for a view of the Aegean, but it is a short 5 minute walk to the Kordon, and another 5 minutes to the old Bazaar.
