we were looking for a hotel, where i could commute into Birmingham whilst my wife could have a relaxing break. the hotel is perfectly located, just off the M5, although it has basic facilities it was perfect for what we were looking for, my wife spent hours wondering around Lickey Park. we booked late and were only offered a room that wasn't ensuite (they apparrently are very popular and were full) the shared facilities were adequate and spotlessly clean, we did peer into an ensuite and they looked ideal. we paid ?55.00 B&B off an internet site and i think it represents good value for money. the hotel staff were very helpful including the breakfast staff in the morning, they even helped my wife find a local florist. When I return I will remember to bring my clubs, the adjoining golf course looked a real challenge
