The Swiss Belhotel Plaza in Kuwait City is an "international" Hotel and is great for travelling on a budget. If you are coming to Kuwait City for only this reason or passing through it makes great sense. It's an economy stay, on an economy price tag. It's not a luxury stay but it offers any and all ammenties you will need for a quick trip. The staff is ever so courtious and polite. The check in was very quick and all my things were brought to my room from the curb be very polite bellman. The belhotel is in an older building however they do a very good job of decorating and making it seem quite modern. The AC works well, the bathrooms are very clean and orderly and the room is up to par with any major Hotel. The mini-bar prices arent in my mind outragoues either. Take the free shuttle to KCIA as well and you can save 3-6KD. just ask the front desk. I ordered room service and it was very good. If you are on a budget, and you are making a quick trip then this Hotel is great. You can spend more at other places and get what you can get at the Swiss Hotel for more dinar. Have safe travels!

I really enjoyed my overnight stay at the Swiss Belhotel Plaza. It was very clean, decorated nicely and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant breakfast was very nice with many fresh choices.
