There was 6 of us on a hen weekend, when we arrived we were helped with our bags and a friendly welcome. We had three adjoining rooms with freeview tv and dvd, which was brilliant to all share a room( could be used for a family). The service was fantastic and everything was immaculately clean. There was an endless supply of free tea, coffee and juice. The views were beautiful. Do not be put of by the hotels surrounding it as this hotel is a real gem., would defiantly stay there again either on a girls weekend or with my family.

The Quies Hotel was fantastic and would fully recommend it. We only stayed for 2 nights but wish we could have stayed for longer. We stayed in room 8 which had a breathtaking view from the double windows. I couldnt wait to wake up every morning and see the view.
Freeview and DVD player in room came in very handy because the weather wasnt excellent. Alex and her staff could not be more helpful and we thought the free orange juice, tea/coffee facilites we a very special touch.
Food was fantastic and they would accommodate for anyone's needs. Please not hesitate to book this hotel and we will totally be going back next year and taking a some firends with us.

Judging from previous reviews we expected a lovely little B&B/Hotel...well, it for sure was little but not exactly lovely. Squeezed between what looks like a burnt down place on the one and a new building under construction on the other side the entrance is a rather sorry sight.
The staff tries to make up for a lot, they are extremely friendly and helpful. They apologized for the construction noise that might occur, showed us where to get free tea/coffee day and night etc.
The rooms are super-tiny, the bathroom in our room, however, was brand new and spotless. Each room has a DVD player and the owners have a large number of DVDs for the guests to rent for free.
In the rooms and the hallways there are signs that ask you to enter and leave your room quietly - a nice try, but it doesn't really help much. You hear all the noises from the adjacent rooms or the hallways.
Breakfast was the worst during our 2-week trip through England - tomatoes straight from the can on your platter!!!!
All in all, if you look for relatively cheap accomodation and don't mind the surroundings, and don't want to spend much time in your room, it might be okay.
