Touted as a business hotel, falls a bit short of the mark. Let me say right now, the beds are the worst I have ever slept in. Felt like a concrete slab... and I am not a squishy mattress chick. they are also very short so my feet were hanging off most of the night. Not fun. also, the glass is the windows in the room is not reinforced so you could hear everything.... I felt like I was out in the middle of the street. I think if you get the quiet side of the hotel facing inward you would be okay, but I was not that lucky. You walk into the lobby and it all seems very posh and businessy, but the rooms are not up to the same standard and if you are a non smoker, insist on a non smoking room, the smoking rooms are just really full of stale smoke....
No wireless and the internet connection was spotty, but this is an issue all over Pune, you just have to deal with it.....
Food and service was good. They have a wide variety in the menu at the restaurant if you are traveling and tired of curries and such. Mexican and Italian, so that was impressive, though did not try the selections themselves. Nice workout room and pool sort of built into a roof deck. No chance to take advantage but they looked nice and clean and well kept. Its certainly cheaper than the meridien and would have no issue staying there again if not for the mattress situation.
