Stayed here Wednesday - Saturday for 40th birthday (mine) & honeymoon with the express intention of visiting Guinness factory & Riverdance. Fantastic for both!
Hotel is in great location for sight-seeing on foot, centrally placed for all you should want to see in Dublin.
Taxi was suggested by a friend: certainly easy & only 32 euros (+ tip, obviously!) Took 40 minutes from airport in mid-morning.
On it's website it offerred early check-in, but we were only allowed to leave our luggage & return at "between 2 & half past". Not ideal after a flight. Returned at 2:15, still not ready. Returned at 2:45 to be told our room (on the 5th floor) had sufferred "minor water damage" from next door leaving the bath running! There certainly were wet patches on the carpet so I requested a move. The only other room available was "not good, as it's noisy & smells". Having read this site, I was aware of the noise. "Smells of what" I ask? "Cigarette smoke" was the reply? "Really? You have smoking rooms? That's great, because my wife & I both smoke" So from one idiots mistake, we actually gained!
The hotel staff were friendly (but, as stated elsewhere, don't expect to hear any Irish accents, but so what?) & you can borrow (& will need!) an umbrella (small refundable deposit). The room was more than adequate space, cleanliness & facilities wise (although we did need to restock our own coffee / milk, but we drink a lot of it & didn't like to ask too much. When we did, it was happily forthcoming).
The hotel restaurant: The Bia Bar. Absolutely superb! Fantastic food, great staff. BUT! It is also a night-club (Fri / Sat etc) so there is noise. Simple: use the bar until the early hours & consume copious amounts of Guinness! I did & I didn't hear a thing!
There is also noise from outside fairly early in the morning from street-maintenance vehicles. Initially, I commented about how clean & tidy Dublin is, with blokes actually washing the roadsigns. When I heard their pull-along rubbish trucks at 6 ish in the morning, I wasn't quite so impressed, but with the previously mentioned Guinness sleep-assistance it bothered me for only a few seconds. You can't have it all ways!
Breakfast served in the hotel was fine & certainly enough to set you up for the day.
All in all would definately reccommend / return to Drury Court for the hotel & it's location.

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend city break. The location is good as it is not far from Temple Bar, the castle and the shops!
The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. We were on the first floor which meant that is was really noisey on the Saturday night from people shouting in the street. Sunday night was quiet though so we managed to catch up on sleep!
Breakfast was fine, nothing special but it is plenty for a day of sight seeing.
Overall it was good value for money for a city centre hotel.

Stayed here with my two children for one night. Hotel is in a great central location, within easy walking distance of St Stephen's Green, Grafton Street and Temple Bar.
The room was big and clean, with a nice, spacious and clean bathroom. Asked for a quiet room so was put on the top floor but would have preferred a room at the back of the hotel as we were kept awake until 5am by the noise from the pub opposite.
We ate in the bar attached to the hotel which was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was also nice but quite a small cooked breakfast, however you could help yourself to cereals, pastries, fruit, etc...
If you want a reasonably priced hotel in a great location then this is great but be warned of the noise from the Hairy Lemon Pub, it's loud!

I was very impressed with the Drury Court Hotel, although I don't think I spoke with anyone irish in the hotel, they were all foreign employees.
The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The breakfast area was fine, although, I felt, the staff should wait until you go onto your hot food before offering tea/coffee. There is an adjoining bar/restaurant which also has an external entrance. The bar area was very spacious and attractive, also the staff were very pleasant. There are very many bars/restaurants/shopping areas nearby. I would recommend a visit to the Guinness factory. I unfortunately fell ill on the holiday, but would say that the doctor and hospital were very helpful. I will go back again and to the same hotel, not the hospital and have a more enjoyable time.
