We went to this hotel after searching hotels in scarborough on the net, and what a gem of a hotel it is. It was exactly as described, our Seaview room was to die for, beautifully decorated and superbly furnished. Hotel staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts where exceptionally good all cooked to perfection. I cant recommend this hotel enough, we had a fantastic stay there during our honeymoon in scarborough and we will definately be making another trip to the mansion house hotel. Anyone that wants a luxury hotel at a reasonable price and good location for all amenities in Scarborough, this is a must. David and Colette Polley.

What a fantastic hotel. We had a double seaview and the views were stunning. Upon arrival we were greeted with a glass of wine - most welcome after a long journey. 65 steps to the room but definitely worth it. The breaksfasts were amazing, and the service second to none. We'll definitely be returning.

the perfect hotel to relax beautiful views of scarborough bay and lovely walks in nearby italian gardens just leave the car and walk nice friendly staff nothing too much trouble good breakfast and the beds are so comfortable will make a return visit.

My recent stay at The Mansion Hotel was delightful. And from it's entrance you couldn't get a better panoramic view of it's South Bay, harbour and the castle anywhere else in Scarborough. I was offered a complimentary glass of wine on arrival by a very efficient but friendly young woman. (sorry I didn't ask your name) She made me feel welcome without being intrusive. I was left to enjoy the wine in the elegant lounge, and asked to ring a bell in the hall if I wanted anything. The hotel has a very high standard of cleanliness throughout, this is a must for me and I was very impressed. My room was stylishly decorated and had a flat screen television with freeview, a digital radio, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. The bed was very comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The bottle of spring water alongside the tea and coffee was welcome and a thoughtful touch. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, and good quality food. All the staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Thanks to you all. I was born in Scarborough, but no longer live there. I have visited twice a year for the past seven years for my nostalgia fix!...The Mansion Hotel will be my choice in the future.

We stayed at the Manision House Hotel at the end of February for three days. The main purpose of our visit was to attend a friends wedding on 29 February. We were more than satisfied with the service and the attention to detail. The manageress, Tina, was great and nothing was too much trouble for her for the guests at the hotel. We ate at the hotel on the first night and the food and wine was excellent, as was breakfast. We stayed in a premier seaview room which was lovely with great views over the bay. Will stay again at this hotel.
