We stayed here for 4 nights at 60 euros per night.
There seems to be 2 halves to this hotel, a modern block above the reception area and another older wing to the right of that - this is where our room was.
Room was very spacious with aircon, a kingsize bed and television (only one english channel). Also has a fridge with mini bar mainly consisting of soft drinks, fruit juices and water which is restocked every morning.
Room cleaned, towels changed every day and basic toiletries provided.
Bathroom was shabby and could do with updating, the shower tray was mouldy around the outside, the door was hanging off at the top which meant that the bathroom got flooded everytime we showered. The shower was brilliant though - like a power hose :o) The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the main bathroom light didnt work (there was another smaller light over the mirror).
The hotel rooms also have wooden floors - not good when it sounds like there is a herd of elephants in the room above! So ask for a room on the 2nd floor to avoid this.
They have a laundry service at a fairly costly rate, we needed an iron whilst we were there and they didnt have one.
Cant comment on the food as we didnt eat in the hotel.
We found a dead bedbug in the outer blanket on the bed on the morning we were leaving and there were silverfish running around the sink in the bathroom when we arrived.
Staff were friendly and all spoke good English, all in all it was value for money and ok for what we needed which was just a base so we could visit other places. We couldnt get a late check out but there was a room where we were able to leave our bags.
There really isnt very much to do in Mogliano. There are a few nice coffee shops and restaurants which are reasonably priced, not much in the line of shopping.
The hotel is just a short 5 minute walk from the train station and the bus stop is only about 100 metres from the hotel. We caught the bus to Treviso and also to venice - both leave every 30 minutes or so. Bus is great also for getting to the airport.. just catch the bus to Treviso bus station for 2 euros and then a further 1 euro 20 for the onward connection to the airport - a lot cheaper than catching a taxi.

Pretty Good Hotel

Overall, I was satisfied with our stay here. Its about 20 minutes by bus to Venice and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. From the airport, you pretty much have to take a taxi unless you want to take like over 2 hours to get there by waiting for some connecting buses. It cost us $45 to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel (only like 10 minute ride).
The staff was helpful and spoke good english. The breakfast wasn't too great there. The room was ok but seemed to get hot even with the window opened. We slept the worst there of our whole Europe trip.
Right behind the hotel is a train station which is nice. Overall, about 2 1/2 stars.
Very Pleased

I was concerned when I read some of the reviews. Staying at this Hotel is a great option. From Treviso Airport you get a 10 minute bus to Treviso Railway station, 15 minutes on the train, 3 minute walk to Hotel, trains every 20 minutes. We arrived at about 4pm so we had wander in the town. Mogalino is a lovely up market town with local reastaurants which local people eat in, great food and prices 16 euro fillet steak, wine 13 euro a bottle, dont expect an English menu, locals will always translate in a fashion.
Hotel was 160 euro for 2 nights, double room excellent quality and yes its a 4 star, just not got the pool and the gym, never had the breakfast, we just wandered out and had simple tea and pastries nice bar opposite beer and wine 2.50 euro.
In the morning its 15 mins on the train into Venice Central. Great adventure Venice, nothing like it in the world, watch the price of drinks and food, 1 beer and 1 wine 19 euro at one place, if the waiter has a fancy coat on keep walking.
Take a gondala ride its expensive, but worth it ,quoted 120 euro walk away, most will do it for 80 euro for 35 minutes.
Sorry, back to the hotel. Room was clean and modern, king size bed, air con (bit slow) good size bathroom more like a big B&B not like Crown Plaza. Location was excellent. very few tourists about.
Onour return we stopped off at Treviso town very nice worth a day trip on its own.
Yes I would recommed this hotel
If you want to pay silly prices in the centre of Venice fair enough

We stayed at Hotel Duca D'aosta for 5 nights over new year. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and clean with a brilliant shower. The only neg of the hotel is the breakfast but there is so many other places to eat this didnt matter much to us. Duca D'aosta is in Mogliano Veneto which is an easy 15 min train journy from Venice. Trains are fast and frequent. Mogliano Veneto itself is a gorgeous little town with lovely shops and a market. We got a great deal flights/accomm with thomascook and if you can stay in Mogliano Veneto I def recommend Duca D'aosta.
