Ok!!, room very clean, asked for a double room, but got twin room where beds were pushed together. Balcony was actually a verranda looking upon the Bio Kovo mountains, much better than sea facing rooms. Beds were comfortable and aircon did work, breakfast was more of a continental basis rather than bacon and eggs if you were looking for this. Great location if you want to be in the centreof things but still like a quiet room, only downside no pool at this hotel, but beach only 5 minutes walk, but can be busy during peak periods

Stayed here and enjoyed it on the whole. Not up to the usual standard of hotels but clean and friendly. No lift which was a bind as I was on my own and there was no porter available to take my case to the room. Fortunately it was on the first floor! The food was fair. You could always find something to your taste although breakfast had the same choice every day which became a little tedious. Location is excellent . It is in the centre of Makarska on the sea front. The staff were most friendly and extremely helpful at all times. Room was OK. There was a good sized balcony but no sun on it! Pleasant enough to sit there though with a little drink and a good book for a peaceful break from the rest of the world. Would I stay here again ? Yes, probably.

Excellent location, friendly satff and clean, spacious rooms!! We had a little veranda and a balcony in our room, thus enjoyed wonderful views of everything - the beautiful mountains behind us and the gorgeous water/promenade in front. Within walking distance to many shoppes/restaurants/beach. Did not find the hotel to be noisy. Wouldn't hesitate to reccomend!

It was a pleasure staying at hotel Biokovo, a modern and clean hotel in Makarska. The person at the reception was very nice, as well as the staff at the bar. the room was nicely decorated, with AC, minibar (useful to have a fridge to store drinks when it's hot) nice bathroom and we had a sea view. One bad point is that there was no lift, a bit of a pain when you have lots of luggage + a buggy... The breakfast room was a bit like a railway station, huge and noisy, but breakfast was good so that made up for it. the hotel is right on the promenade, facing the sea and you can park your car 200m away in a locked car park for free. ----------

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt im Hotel Biokovo, einem modernen und sauberen Hotel in Makarska. Der Angestellte an der Rezeption war sehr nett, genauso wie das Personal in der Bar. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, hatte Klimaanlage, Minibar (schön wenn man einen Kühlschrank hat, wenn es draußen heiß ist), schönes Badezimmer und Meerblick. Nicht so gut war, dass es keinen Lift gab. Ein wenig beschwerlich, wenn man viel Gepäck und einen Buggy hat...Der Frühstücksraum ähnelte einer Bahnhofshalle, riesig und laut, aber die Qualität des Frühstücks hat das wieder wettgemacht. Das Hotel befindet sich direkt an der Promenade am Meer und man kann sein Auto ca. 200m entfernt auf einem überwachten Parkplatz kostenlos abstellen.
