Uno stabile molto bello, lo staff molto disponibile, ottima pulizia delle camere, ampie e con ogni confort. Abbiamo passato qui 2 giorni molto belli! Anche la posizione è davvero ottima. Direttamente sul mare!

The staff at The Othon Palace were very efficient and helpful. At checking I was greeted in English and was offered a free room upgrade to one of the Penthouse suites. My partner and I were very lucky. The view from the panoramic lift/elevator is breathtaking. The Penthouse consisted of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a very large living room all with telephones and TV and a small kitchenette with mini bar. The TV had international satellitte stations. The beach across the road can be dangerous at times, so be careful. If you can make friends with the locals on the beach, they will usually deter any wrongdoer ! Safety in Fortaleza means going around in numbers and being extra careful at all times. If you want to take people back to your room, I would suggest doing this during the day when the security is not so strict, but again be careful whom you invite. Make use of the safes in the room and don't leave valuables around (this includes makeup and perfumes). Do not take any jewellry with you, even your wedding ring, unless you can afford to lose it and your life. You are in Brazil.

El personal del Othon Palace era muy eficiente y amable. Me saludaron en inglés y me ofrecieron una de las suites del ático gratis. Mi pareja y yo tuvimos mucha suerte. Las vistas desde el ascensor panorámico son impresionantes. La suite consistía en dos habitaciones, dos baños y una sala de estar muy grande con teléfonos y televisor, y una pequeña cocina americana con minibar. La televisión tenía canales de satélite internacional. La playa que está al otro lado de la carretera puede ser peligrosa a veces, así que tened cuidado. Si conseguís haceros amigos de la gente local de la playa, normalmente disuadirán a cualquier malhechor. La seguridad en Fortaleza significa salir en grupo y tener un cuidado adicional en todo momento. Si queréis invitar a gente a vuestra habitación, mi sugerencia sería que lo hicierais de día, cuando la seguridad no es tan estricta, pero, de nuevo, tened cuidado con a quién invitáis. Utilizad las cajas fuertes de la habitación y no dejéis objetos de valor visibles (esto incluye maquillaje y perfumes). No llevéis nada de joyas encima, ni la alianza de bodas, a menos que os podáis permitir el lujo de perderla a ella y vuestra vida. Estáis en Brasil.

Wir waren letzten Sommer eine Woche lang im Othon Palace. Unser Zimmer war klein aber es war bequem, sehr sauber und sehr bequem. Die Zimmermädchen waren wunderbar, fast zu gut. Ich ließ dreckige Wäsche auf dem Fußboden liegen und fand diese Sachen dann ordentlich gefaltet in meinem Koffer wieder. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Man half mir dabei, Restaurants zu reservieren und Taxen zu rufen. Es standen vor dem Hotel immer Taxen zur Verfügung. Man sollte ein paar Brocken Portugiesisch lernen. Nicht jeder hier spricht Englisch. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist im Preis enthalten. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Plätzchen, Obst und Eispeisen. Vermeiden Sie den Strand auf der anderen Straßenseite. Uns wurde gesagt, dass dieser verschmutzt sein. Verpassen Sie auf gar keinen Fall den Sonnenuntergang vom Pool auf dem Dach.

We stayed at the Othon Palace for a week last summer. Our room was small but the comfortable, extremely clean and very comfortable. The maid service was wonderful...almost too wonderful. I left dirty clothes on the floor and found them neatly folded on my suitcase. The hotel staff was very accomodating. They helped with dinner reservations and taxis. They always have taxis waiting out front when you need them. Try to learn some rudimentary Portuegese. Not everyone speaks English.The breakfast buffet is included in the price. It was nice spread of pastries, fruit, and egg dishes. Avoid the beach across the street. We were told it is polluted. Don't miss watching the sunset from rooftop pool.
