Booked through Trip Advisor, got room at USD 84.. Large living room with couch (not sleeper), large desk, cable TV, table, kitchen with stove, refrigerator, bar and two bar stools. July, so I didn't need the A/C, never had it on. Ethernet internet connection, reasonably fast, for R$ 10 per 24 hrs. The room had a safe at no extra charge.
Service was exemplary--friendly, helpful, room was cleaned early and often. Good breakfast included.
Can't beat the location, 2 blocks from Avenida Paulista and the Brigadeiro Metro station.

Guest name: Savonarola, Belo bloody Horizonte
A very well located flat, again by the Othon chain, right by Paulista avenue. The Jardins neighbourhood is a great place, where you can find some of the best restaurants in town. Rooms are more like an apartment, with kitchen, living room, balcony, bedroom and bathroom. Fully-working AC, both on bedroom and living room, that could get the place rather chilly.
Nice buffet breakfast, some breads, cheeses, ham, eggs and hot-dogs. There is a restaurant open at night, but I haven't tried.
Internet access on the lobby.
Free parking with valet for guests, which is essential in a city like São Paulo.
Gym, pool and sauna on the top floor make it a nice place for chilling out and having a drink.
Not a luxury place at all, but comfortable and with a great location.
