I visited Hotel Nikopolis for business reasons. I stayed in the second floor of the hotel, room 21..The hotel is located near the airports and big malls, away from city center. You need approximately 3o minutes by car to go to the center. Excellent and clean room, big bed. They cleaned the room twice a day. It has an italian restaurant with good food, not too expensive. It has live italian music during dinner. All employees from the receptionist to the cleaning lady were very helpful...it's really a 5*star hotel. They even brought me newspapers from city center!It has a BIG swimming pool, so in case you visit this hotel during summer don't forget to bring your swimming suit.

This hotel deserves every one of it's five stars. It is modern and elegant. There is a huge pool which most of the rooms look out onto, creating a great atmosphere, and at night when it's lit up it's just magic. The rooms are spacious, and tastefully decorated. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, the bathroom huge, and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and professional. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

Being a frequent visitor of Thessaloniki, I cannot think of a nicer place to stay! The design is unlike anything else you might find in Greece, let alone Thessaloniki. Service is of high standard, and although the location is not the best, the hotel makes up to it by its immaculate design! Truly boutique!

I spent 4 nights at the Nikopolis Hotel during ourrecent company conference. The Hotel is no longer part of the Kempinski chain, which was a surprise to me, as when we booked our conference there a few months ago it was booked as a "Kempinski". A lot of stuff still bears the "Kempinski" logo (such as the bathroom towels), but the Hotel is no longer managed by the chain. It may soon become a Hilton from what I hear. I stayed at an executive room, which was very spacious and well appointed, and very clean. I got special treatment, due to the conference, so I will not comment on the "extras" I got (like fresh fruit and desserts every day!). But, the standard things, such as a very comfortable bed, and a bathroom with both walk in shower and bathtub, where great. The room gets a 5/5 overall. The location is very close to the airport, and within walking distance from the city's largest shopping mall, the Mediterenean Cosmos (though the road to get there is not pedestrian friendly). However, it is very far from the city itself, and thus you will have to take a taxi all the time (which will cost around €10 every time, as taxis are cheap) if you want to go downtown. Overall, the location is 3/5. The worse thing about the hotel is the food. We had a few meals in the Hotel, as part of the conference, and it left a lot to be desired. 2/5 on the food. Especially for a Hotel in a city famous for its great food. Overall, a good Hotel, especially if you get a good rate. As long as the Hotel remains without "multinational" management, there may be some issues.

It is very difficult when you see how many hotels you can book and not knowing what an earth they could be like but you really cant go wrong with this, check out their website my partner and i want to express how pleased we were with this hotel. The room was large, immaculate and had everything we could ask for and more. The service there is excellent. Breakfast was good, served on our terrace and never boring and the area was so relaxing.Everyone is very friendly and will help you make any arrangements you need as well as recommend things to do and see.The cleaning was daily and always done tp excellent standards and the hotel grounds and pool area were always kept clean I am recommending this hotel to everyone i know planning to visit Salonica.We hope to return again, my wife and i absolutely loved this hotel and the service.
