Very nice experience. The apartments were new and more room (about 500 sq.ft.) than I could have ever used (traveling alone). Close to Santa Fe and shopping, and a metro (subte) line. A very good experience and would stay again. Ask for an apartment away from the elevators as some apartments are literally right next to them and can be noisy throughout the night.

A fairly new apartment-hotel just off Av. Santa Fe and about 200m from the shopping mall Alto Palermo. It's not quite the finest part of Palermo, but we didn't feel at all apprehensive in the streets, even late in the night. Sanchez de Bustamante is a typical side street with a fair bit of traffic, but we (city-dwellers) had no problem sleeping with the window open.
The room was spacious and the equipment perfectly adequate if one doesn't need to cook proper meals. Breakfast was good by Argentine standards - everything fresh. The outdoor swimming pool is very small but even in winter it was open, heated and clean. Staff were very freindly and helpful and at least half of them spoke fairly reasonable English. Room rate (out of season - double occupancy) was around EUR 82 / night incl. breakfast, which we found very reasonable in comparison with alternatives.
For anyone not averse to travelling in Bs.As. (plenty of buses) this is an excellent solution - about 2-3 km away from both Recoleta and Soho and around 5 km from the Microcentro (Subway Line D about 400m from hotel).

Booked on Orbitz due to attractive rates ($95/per night) for a suite. Could not find much in the way of reviews or pictures, so definitely a gamble. I can say it definitely paid off. Located 2 blocks from Alto Palermo mall and Avineda Sante Fe, this apartment style hotel featured a nice sized efficiency suite complete with full service kitchen with granite countertops, dining area, sofa and bedding area. Bathroom had a European feel, clean and had a nice deep shower tub with rain shower faucet (very good water pressure and heat). Nice closet and safe in the room for valuables. If you're looking for a full service hotel complete with room service and amenities, then this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a home away from home, then this fits the bill nicely. The staff spoke English and were very helpful in making reservations, calling for radio taxis and providing recommendations for things to do in the area. You are offered a daily continental breakfast (medialunas, pastries, juices, coffee, cereal and teas). Located technically in Barrio Norte, you are a short 15 minute walk to the Recoleta Cemetery and Palermo parks area. Close to the Subte (Line D) that will shoot you to Palermo and interests in the Microcenter. The apartment/hotel offers free usage of 2 computers off of the lobby area and is better value than the daily WI-FI fee of $7USD. Overall , very pleased with the quality of the accommodations for the money, the easy location to trendier barrios (Recoleta, Palermo and Palermo Viejo) and the friendly and helpful staff.

This is part of a boutique hotel chain with one other location in Buenos Aires and one under construction. The staff was wonderful. They were very helpful, checked us in early and gave us a great room when we returned for one more night at the end of our stay. The rooms were very comfortable-apartment style- and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located just off the main street of Avenida de Santa Fe and conveniently between Aguero and Bulnes subte stops. It's walking distance to the botanical gardens and the other parks. It's a quick cab ride from the hot spots in Palermo. I recommend this place for business or pleasure travelers. It was a great value and a nice "home-away-from-home". One thing I would not recommend was Madero Tango-which was recommended by the Ayers de Palermo staff. The show was ok, but dinner was not. Don't waste a meal in Buenos Aires at Madero Tango with so many wonderful restaurants. Also, the hotel is a quick cab ride to the domestic airport Jorge Newbery.

I stayed in a large suite overlooking the pool in the Ayres de Palermo last December. It far exceeded any hotel stay I've ever had in a city and felt more like having a corporate apartment - but with all of the benefits (reception staff , full breakfast, etc.) of a hotel. The decor was clean and modern but warm and all of the finishes are excellent quality European.
The recommendations of the extremely friendly (and hip and well-educated) staff, combined with the apartment-like living quarters, made me feel more like a well-to-do resident of Buenos Aires than a tourist. I've paid far more for far less at hotels such as the Waldorf Astoria and Sofitel in cities like New York and London. I'd have to say that my stay at the Ayres de Palermo was my most pleasant travel lodging experience ever.
