What a disappointment, the air conditioner leaked a beach towel worth of water every day on the floor, the toliet leaked, the pool had big holes in the concrete, the tiles were falling off the side of the pool, the restaurant was only open for breakfast and house keeping was only done every other day. I think shampoo and a hairdryer should be a requirement as well as washrags and handtowels for everyone in the room. But the biggest disappointment was that the beach was farther than a few minutes away. A car was a necessity if you wanted to go to the beach or even be able to eat meals while you were there. These are only a few of the complaints,,,I can say the staff was nice. The hotel did not live up to the write up on the internet.

Stayed at this hotel March 08 , nothing like the photos, had to move to another hotel. dirty equipment/utensils. rooms had no windows felt like I was in a prison. I would suggest that no one stay here.

Three of us (all women) stayed in one apartment and at 2.00 am the first night someone came and tried to breakdown our door. The hotel security could not be contacted and when the police came they said that no hotel security was present. No other patrons of the place came out to help even though the noise of someone banging down the door was too loud to ignore. Luckily the person was not succeeding at breaking down the door and eventually gave up trying to get in. We demanded a full refund and left the following morning. Most things in the apt were either broken or incompletely built. Our issues with the place were as follows: - broken cupboard doors, - towel racks without the bar, - musty smelling apartment and comfortrers that smelled like they had never been cleaned before, - A/C that did not adjust, - lighbulbs missing from 6 light fixtures - Corridor lights to get to apt not working, so had to walk in the dark to get to apartment. Out of these only the light bulb issue was addressed by the hotel.

i went to island suites with my partner n had the most amazing time. we stayed there for 2weeks and they gave us a 2 bedroom room for the price of a one bedroom and converted the second room into a lounge with sofas. the rooms are comfortable with airconditionioning well spaced. the bathroom is a little small but what does it matter when its only to shower! the television has a good selection of channels and kept us occupied for most of the evenings. the pool is lovely and warm in the evenings for a little dip and the hotel itself looks very attractive. i have not eaten at this hotel as we always went outside for dinner so i cannot really comment on that. it was a very enjoyable holiday experience and i found it to be quite luxurious for the price i paid. it generally isnt in the range of the coco reef but it is a very comfortable, nice place to stay. i would definitely reccomend it to couples. it is a very quiet hotel so if your looking for a lively hotel probably not the place but then again what hotel in tobago is lively? you have to go out to get ur entertainment, and having said that the location is very near to the famous sunday school and the beaches! there are tables n chairs outside your room on the balcony and parking space if you have a rental. it has recently introduced security which makes it all the much safer. im goin back in 3 weeks as i cant get enough of this country.. having spent 2 months there in total over the past year im returning for another visit and i cannot wait to make this place my 1st choice as a place to stay.. hopefully they have a room available. fingers crossed!

Before we'd booked this hotel we read many review and were happy with what guests had said . Once we'd arrived we had to move rooms three times because the first room had dirty foot prints on the bathroom floor and it smelt very damp, and the second room was too big for us. The third and final room was the best out of the three (but still had major problems). Our bathroom had heavy condensation to the point that our toilet panel lid had to be kept off for the two weeks we were there so the water could drop into the panel and not splash onto us. (see photo1). The kitchen sink had terrible limescale (this type of limescale should only be seen on TV for a new cleaning product commericials) (see photo 2 & 3) We were overall disapointed with the basic cleanliness of the hotel, we wouldn't stay there again and we would not recommend it. Staff did not give us the basis information for the hotel eg breakfast/lunch times, reception opening and closing times etc. The swimming pool was nice, staff memebers pleasant, the hotel is in a good area. Overall the rooms need to be revamped and kept up.
