Great location, hotel

I enjoyed my 3 day stay here in the early April. Front desk above average, very knowledgeable and courteous at all times. Train station by tube to I L Pavolva tube stop, 15 minutes. 3 blocks to hotel. Bought a 3 day travel pass, best buy. The hotel was central for me, clean and very comfortable. Exchanged money easily (Kronas to Florints) and at a great rate. Great Chinese restaurant around corner.
Would come back here anytime

beware bar prices

hotel itself was pleasant,if a little further out than expected. we arrived quite late so decided just to have a few drinks at the bar.no prices were to be seen any where so i asked the receptionist who replied ask the bar staff ! we ordered two small beers, i cant rember exactly how much we were charged but we thought it a bit extortionate and we were not given a receipt neither was it rung up on the till. we thought nothing more of it until we had the same two small beers the next day,different young barman [the one the previous night had been much older] and HALF the price. in fact during the holiday we found numerous examples of people trying to rip us off. prague is lovely but we will not be returning .

We stayed at this hotel for three nights at the beginning of July. We specifically selected this hotel as it was centrally located and AIR CONDITIONED. We specifically booked a smoking room that was airconditioned. We checked into the hotel only to be informed that we were allocated to a room that was non-smoking and non-airconditioned. Lukily Prague was having a bit of a cold spell while we were there thus the air conditioning was not an issue. But, be aware that you may not receive an air conditioned room.
The hotel is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
It is situated between two incredibly busy roads and we found we were awakened early in the morning by the trucks even with the windows closed.
I would stay here again, but I would also likely look around to see what else is available.

Stayed for 3 nights. On our arrival we were allocated Room 510, when we entered the room it was pretty awful. Carpets, walls, pictures on walls all left a lot to be desired. The shower tray was chipped in many places. The towel had at least 6 holes in it and lots of stains. When I complained to reception I was told that I would probably be moved that evening, however this did not happen as they told me hotel was fully booked. Next morning 1st thing I was back at reception, and at last got moved - to a room that was beautiful - Room 101 - you would think we were in a different hotel. It is obvious that some parts of this hotel are in need of renovation.
Our second complaint was the hot breakfast - or lack of it. If you went for breakfast in the last hour of serving, you were lucky to get a couple of small sausages. When the staff were asked for more they told us 'sorry there is no more'. There was plenty of other 'cold' foods to eat, and the breakfast room was lovely & clean. We won't be back at this hotel - sorry!

Nous venons de séjourner à 4 personnes , au Green Garden de Prague , mais nous n'en garderons pas un souvenir impérissable...
Si nous devons reconnaître que le confort des chambres y est correct , nous déplorons un accueil désagréable , dépourvu de tout sourire...Dans cet hôtel , aucun contact humain : nous nous sommes sentis transparents : nous avons été des numéros de chambres .
Aucune courtoisie , ne serait-ce que pour nous tenir la porte alors que nous étions embarrassés par nos bagages.
Oubli d'une de nos chambres pour le ménage au 2ème jour de notre séjour: nous avons retrouvé la salle de bains avec nos serviettes mouillées , le soir en rentrant de nos visites de la ville...
Cet oubli signalé n'a suscité aucune excuse de la réceptionniste...
Le petit déjeuner est copieux mais banal, sans aucune fantaisie;
A signaler : un infâme jus d'orange , sans doute de la poudre diluée ( genre "Tang" )!
En bref , on peut sans doute trouver beaucoup mieux pour le même prix!
