This motel was getting work done on it when we arrived. They appeared to be aware of a fault in our air-con in the room as they had placed a towel below to catch the constant drip. There was no other source of ventilation. It is close to a major road and their is no double glazing. When I heard the first road train passing I awoke and thought there was a jumbo landing. Other than the noise the rooms were clean a practical. It appeared to have been recently decorated and fitted. We dined in the restaurant. That was an experience. The staff did not have a clue. It took us over two hours to get our meal.
There would appear to have had lots of complaints about the dining as when I checked out the reception mentioned the problems.
I stayed in a ground floor room. There were no windows to the rear only the window and door to the front facing the road. There was no parking directly outside my room. The rooms on the upper floor apparently have extras but are basically the same room with a balcony facing onto the main road.
Rooms are large with everything you would need.
There is also a bottle shop and bar attached to the motel.
If noise is a problem avoid this motel.
