Very disappointed in the service from the front desk. The front desk staff seemed very incompetent and any questions you had for them could only be answered in the am when the supervisor arrived. The rooms are paper thin and the noise level kept us awake all night. There were people running down the hallways, partying in the hallways, running constantly up and down the stairs and yelling to each other. It was intolerable. Front staff did nothing about the noise even when one complained. In the am we complained to the morning clerk about the noise during the night and apparently the night clerk denied that anyone called about the noise level when we complained several times to him about the noise. The mgt said we had alot of kids in for sports tournaments, etc. Fine, but do something about the noise level after midnight and deter the running up and down the hallways after midnight. The whole stay at this hotel was truly disappointing. Would never stay here again. The diner cafe was a dive. There are alot of great hotels in the north end of Saskatoon, avoid this hotel unless you want to party.
My ratings for this hotel are:
2.0 Value
1.0 Service
2.0 Rooms
2.0 Cleanliness
absolutely a great value

We needed a place after our house had a lot of rain damage. It poured while we were putting on new shingles. The accomodations were great and the price was very reasonable. The beds are all new and very comfortable and they even had a playpen for our baby. We had a huge hot breakfast at their resturant for only $2.49 each. We were able to watch different movies every night and even had free popcorn.
I will be recommending the Riviera to all my friends and family who visit from out of town.
