I booked a room at this motel, based on the location and the price. On the outer edge of the parks that surround the CBD, I thought not having been to Adelaide before that this would be a good location. It was, but the motel wasn't really that great. The rooms were okay, but the main issue was the noise. It seemed that if you were not up and about by 8:00 AM the motel cleaning staff would make sure of it. They would make as much racket as possible to get you awake and out of that room so they could clean it. After two days of that, I went to the front desk and asked politely if I could be left alone in the morning, as it had been a long trip and I needed my rest. Sure no problem they said, but it only got worse to the point it was actually funny. On the last day they even left a lawn mower running at 8 in the morning on the patch of grass in front of my room. Yes, they just left it there running. Also, no fault of the hotel, but there is not much in the way of restaurants within walking distance. You can walk back though the parks to the CBD, but at night I do not know how safe that may or may not be. I found some other accomodations in the local neighborhood and in the CBD at a comparable price, which might be better, so next time in Adelaide I'll try elsewhere.
