Stayed while on an overnight stopover and booked from the airport . As other reviewers have noted the free airport shuttle only operates for a couple of hours in the morning .Two good things about this motel: it is convenient to the airport (less than $20 by taxi) and the staff are helpful and friendly. Apart from that not much positive to say. Didnt sleep a wink as had a room fronting onto the main road and the rumble of its frequent truck traffic. The bed was spongy and uncomfortable and the room cramped. Would try the nearby Formula 1 or Hamilton as alternatives next time.

This is a straightforward motel with very nice accommodation, and a small but good restaurant on site. It's beside a main road, but it really isn't intrusive. Location-wise it is really good. Very close to the airport by car (10 mins), short drive from a major shopping centre (5 mins) and a 5 min walk from the Northgate rail station which connects you cheaply and easily with anywhere in the region. It's also great for access by car to the north of Brisbane - places like Australia Zoo and the rest of the sunshine coast, as it is very close to the main highway north of all the traffic jams. Some of the staff couldn't have been friendlier - the lady on reception when we arrived, the young girl when we left and the waitress in the restaurant were all delightful. But I wanted to use the Internet facility one night and was greeted by a young lady on reception who was sullen in the extreme, making it feel that she was doing me a favour. When the PC wouldn't work, her response was essentially "tough luck". And the owners/managers were positively frosty and distant on the several occasions we came across them - really cold and unwelcoming, making us feel like aliens from planet zog. On those grounds alone, we would not recommend this place, which is a pity.

Stayed here for only one night as we had an early flight the next day and wanted to be the near the airport. It was better than we needed or expected and I would recommend it for a longer stay, although it is not near the centre of Brisbane so may not be the best location. Room was spacious and had a kitchenette. There was a patio door leading to the outdoor areas. Didn't eat in restaurant but sat outside and had a drink which was nice. There is a guest laundry which is free of charge and a well stocked garage shop and a post office across the road. There is a shuttle service to the airport which picks you up outside the hotel for a fee at set times which was perfect.

The Comfort Inn advertises free shuttle for the airport, but when you arrive at the airport they will not pick you up and it costs between $20 - $25.00 for a taxi. Also they have strict times leaving the Inn in the A.M. so we ended up at the airport 2 1/2 hours before departure when we only required 1 1/2 hours. I consider the free shuttle advertising incorrect and deceptive.

we only stayed overnight in the hotel, but the staff were very friendly, we had breakfast in the hotel which was really good and cooked fresh as you got there not heated up after being cooked they booked our taxi to the aiport so there also we had no problems it would be a good central point for a longer stay train station to brisbane and anywhere else is only 5 minutes away and they run every 10 minutes or so even the air train stops there it was a good experiance all round would recomend it to anyone
