Stayed in this hotel for two nights during my biz trip. This hotel is by far the best hotel around the airport. Once-every-30-min shuttle takes you to the hotel in 10 min from airport. Frequent 30-min-ride-train can take you to the centre. Due to its location, not recommended to visitors, but definitely recommended for business travellers, especially if you spend much time in hotel. Its bar and restaurant delivers good food and service in boutique like atmosphere. There is no question that NH hotel is one of the highest quality hotels around Europe.

I stay here very often (30+ nights this year) because I have an office one block away. Do not stay here for tourism! Pros - friendly staff, very clean, spacious (by European standards), modern rooms, across the street from rail station. Cons - food is way too expensive and not very good, internet connection is very expensive (currently 88 E per week), limited local food. Be aware that the shutlle to the airport mentioned in other reviews does not run continuously on the weekends. There are periods with no coverage so you will have to take a cab and suffer the cabbie's consternation at having to wait 2 hrs in line for a very short fare to Diegem. Happens to me every Sunday arrival. I frequently walk into the town of Diegem for meal or take to the train to Brussels for dinner.

I spent two nights at the NH and found it very good. The room was big, quiet and modern. However, there were two thing that I found not so nice: Wireless LAN internet access and the menu in the restaurant. The WiFi internet access signal was very poor and rather expensive. The menu in the restaurant was very limited. There were only few plates available to choose from, a limitation I did not expect. The bar offers a different choice, you might want to check there first. The room service menu was ok.

The only reason we booked this hotel is the vicinity to Brussels airport. The hotel has pleasant architecture, and they were friendly at our check-in. The room was ok, we didnt like the matras of the bed wich was too hard and bumpy. There is a nice washing table and apart a toilet, bath and shower. We were to leave for the airport at 06.00 am but at that time the shuttle to the airport wasnt driving. We took a taxi to the airport wich takes less than 10 minutes and costed us 12 euro.
