Stayed at this hotel for just one night. Top class hotel, service and amenities are second to none. We got a good rate from the hotel but found the meals and drinks in the bars, restaurant extremely pricey (e.g. $32 for 4 teas). Rooms are very comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Staff are very helpful even to the extent of giving us a lift into town since taxis were hard to come by. Would definitely stay in this hotel again although Tangier doesn't attract me much.

Nice hotel (not five star but probably is the best in the city).
Staff friendly and relatively helpful.
Overpriced rooms in my opinion but I got a good rate (

Just returned from staying 6 nights in tangiers. We stayed 5 nights in the Moevenpick, and if we returned to Tangiers would definately return to this Hotel.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
The food was excellent, especially in the tent restaurant, We had a vegetable salad starter and shared it. It had 9 or 10 different tapas portions of vegetables done in different ways, really Fresh and delicious. Followed by Lamb Tagine, It was the Best lamb I have ever tasted! The paradisier restaurant downstairs served an excellent Buffet Breakfast, with plenty to choose from, lovely freshly squeezed orange juice,Moroccon pancakes, cakes, various Honeys and Jams. English breakfast, you ask the chef how you want your eggs cooked. Smoked Salmon, cereals, yoghurts, various different croissants,fruit- something for everyone. Equally the lunch time buffet, you were spoilt for choice. Weight watchers beware of the vast array of puddings. We spent a few nights in the Casino and luckily came out winning, we diddn't have to pay for our drinks either in there.
The hotel reception were happy to find out a cab fare to Asillah for us and then a car hire. Opted for a day car hire 600 dirhams about 60 euros, Decent quality peogeot 206 delivered to hotel and the guy filled out the forms, painless.
Hotel 5 mins taxi ride from Medina taxi cost varied from 60 dirhams avout 0.60 cent euro to 25 dirhams 2 euros 50.
Our bedroom and bathroom were fine, we had a standard double, (600 euros for 6 nights) lovely view of the beach/sea and in the distance Tangier port, Next time I would upgrade to a better room, not quite 5 star in my opinion.
Very good security in and out of hotel- definately recommend
