Put into this hotel by Qatar Airways ground staff at Doha as we missed our connecting flight. Issued meal coupons. My brother and I stayed in separate rooms on the 6th floor. The rooms were nice, but oddly fitted out. Both rooms had a kitchenette with a stove top. Not sure what sort of cooking was expected to be done by its occupant; there were no utensils, crockery or cutlery in the room. Apart from the furniture and basic toiletries, there was nothing else in the room that one takes for granted from a 4-star hotel. Had to ask housekeeping to provide a dressing gown.
Told to order our supper from room service as it was late when we arrived. Offered only a choice of chicken curry or club sandwich. When the former arrived, the portion was so small I had to ask the reception manager to come and have a look for himself. He apologised and came back with another tray of food - slightly bigger portion of curry and rice and a salad (wow!).
There was no drink offered (other than the complimentary bottle of mineral water in the room) and the room service man insisted on us handing over our 'refreshement' coupon as we asked for a large bottle of mineral water with our food. The minibar was empty - I suppose in case scrounging transit passengers drank the contents. Asked for ice cubes and this eventually came after 4 phone calls (the last as a complaint to the reception) and a 2 hour wait. We also had to ask them to bring glasses as the water came only as a bottle.
I realise that staying courtesy of Qatar Airways as transit passengers, we were not going to be pampered. But from this experience both the Hotel and Qatar Airways have lost out. Can't say much about the rest of the hotel, but we are not staying here if we ever came to Doha again.

This was the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. From outside appearances the hotel looks very nice, the rooms are large, Wok Mi is a really great restaurant and everything (like most of Doha) is very new. But, it’s only when things start to fall apart that you realise just how deceiving appearances can be. By far, this hotel has the worst customer service and staff members of any place I have ever stayed. Myself, and two colleagues were treated so poorly, shouted at, locked out of rooms, lied to, were physically hurt due to faulty services, had sporadic hot water, consistently incorrect room service and had personal belongings mislaid. If you can avoid it – keep away!

This is a new hotel and still not fully finished yet. The hotel reception when checking in was pretty average. We requested a sea view room and was told hotel was fully booked, I found out later that it wasn't at all. I got the impression that she was just uninterested in checking. Very lack lustre.
I had requested a twin room, and we were given a double. When I asked if we could change, other hotel staff (concierge and housekeeping) offered us a variety of rooms ... that's why I then knew hotel wasn't fully booked.
The rooms are lovely. Nice and modern decor, very comfortable beds with white quilts/duvet's and big, soft pillows. There was a small sink, tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary water.
Flat screen tv. No bathtub, but huge shower. Complimentary bathrooms products were really nice quality.
Hotel pool is indoors on the 26th floor. Great view from here. Worth checking out, even if you didn't want to swim. Small coffee shop is alongside it. We had a very nice fruit cocktail drink. Pleasant staff, the guy doing the juices was really friendly.
Ladies jacuzzi area was being worked on. So could not check that out.
Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly staff here too and a good variety to choose from. Chairs are a bit low though for the table when sitting down to eat :-)
Transfers to the airport if organised through the hotel was going to be 90 riyals each way. This is an absolute RIP OFF. Get a regular taxi. Fare should be around 18 riyals.
You are close to the City Centre Shopping Mall. Excellent mall. Walking distance.
There is a huge amount of construction work going on around this hotel at the moment. Probably will be for the next 1-2 years. In fact all of Doha is one huge construction site.
I would recommend this hotel, but the reception staff have got to improve. Not a very good first impression was given to us by the lady checking us in.

Sie sollten also lieber woanders wohnen – z. B. im Marriott, erstklassig, obwohl es etwas weit vom Schuss liegt. Doha ist recht klein und Taxis sind recht günstig, deshalb macht das auch nichts.
