We have just returned from the Jerba. We stayed at the Moevenpick Hotel. I choosed it , because I thought that the name guarantee the quality of the services and the cleanness but it was far away from my expectations.We had a nice clean room, but unfortunately the corridors were filthy and the one color carpets were full of ugly stains. I had a room at the end of the corridor and was horrified every time I needed to go to the room. In the hotel restaurant Calypso we eat only the first day. The waiters and the tables were dirty and covers threw on them. The food was terrible and served very shallowly so we eat all others days in Radisson hotel.

We just returned from Tunisia and stayed at the Moevenpick. The weather was still a bit cool but we had sun everyday. The hotel is very nice, clean, good food and great service. We have two small boys and there were several activities to keep them busy since the sea and outdoor pool were a bit cold. They also have a heated indoor pool. We had adjoining rooms and that worked out great. The rooms were in great condition. You can arrange for many types of excursions which were fun to get off the island and see many of the sites on the mainland.

Le meilleur hotel qualité-prix sur l'île de Djerba. Chambre agréable spacieuse, thalasso exceptionnelle, piscine agréable et surtout plage au bord de l'hotel, personnel très professionnel et qui a fait part d'une humanité rare. A recommander à tous. Nous y avons passé 15 jours et prévoyons d'y retourner.

Cet hotel nous a semblé pas trop mal dans l'ensemble pour la categorie 5* arrivée à l'hotel : nous sommes arrivés à 23h30 avec notre voiture de location - aucun probleme pour se garer et en plus les parkings sont protégés par des tentes pour garder les voitures a l'ombre premiere impression : beau jardin, hall d'accueil agreable accueil tres courtois avec raffraichissement le temps de remplir les papiers !! une personne nous a aidé a monter nos valises chambre : un peu deçu au premier coup d'oeil car nous ne l'avons pas trouvé tres grande (nous avions pris chambre superieure) mais au fil des jours cela suffisait salle de bain avec baignoire et lavabo, wc separé, tres grande entrée, tres bonne literie, television cablée (toutes les chaines francaises !), une grande loggia donnant sur la mer et vue degagée - tres calme - pas trop loin de la reception ni de la piscine activités : - piscine petite mais sympa car pas trop de monde lors de notre sejour - personne surveillant la piscine tres gentil - plage un peu petite sauf devant la thalasso - mer tres proche de l'hotel donc sympa pour se baigner - mer turquoise tres claire et tres chaude (moi qui suis tres difficile j' y suis allée plusieurs fois car je l'ai trouvée tres propre) - thalasso : tres bien, tres propre, personnel impeccable et tres gentil restauration : dans l'ensemble moyen ! mais nous n'avons pas été malades - El Malouf, restaurant tunisien, nous avons pris le plat degustation "Kemia royale" tres bien par contre les glaces pas top ! la chantilly etait dure et sentait le beurre rance et avait donné le gout aux boules de glace !! bref nous n'avons pas pu les manger - Le Neptune : pas transcendant !! et en plus le serveur avait mal pris la commande donc nous avons attendu longtemps mais heureseument il faisait beau et le cadre autour de la piscine nous a fait patienter !! - le Kalypso : bref le restaurant buffet : entrées sympas, plats moyens mais du choid et desserts vraiment nuls !! - bar sidi bousaid : cadre sympa et correct en qualité et en prix (thé à la menthe et chicha ou narguilé) voila un sejour sympa pour profiter du ciel bleu et du soleil au bord de la mer ce n'est pas un club donc pas d'activité ni de bruit - tant mieux ! il est vrai que des cavaliers viennent en bord de plage importuner les touristes allongés sur les transats donc mieux vaut etre autour de la piscine

We wanted to have a good rest and this is exactly what we found in this hotel. Hotel is really nice, with spacious rooms, very clean, good food and really hospitable stuff. We have a kid, 5 years old, and he enjoyed pool very much. Pool is also clean, with chairs next to it, so it was easy to look after him. Beach is also perfect for kids, sea was very warm, but there is a lot of seaweed which cannot be cleaned for enviromental protection reasons, whichwasn't great, but acceptable. I enjoyed wellnes as well, so there are many things to do to enjoy yourself. There is one maur style bar and one lounge bar wit live music, and both were fine for having drinks after dinner. There wasn't too much people at that time, so those places were kind of empty, not really a place for party. Outside of hotel there is really not much to do.One can play golf, take a camel ride (going trough some weird residential areas full of building sites) or go to a boat trip. Generally, Jerba is place where you will stay in hotel most of the time, get a good rest and enjoy in peacefull and quiet vacations. If it's your first time in Tunisia, go to Hammamet, from where you can take trips to Tunis, Cartaga and Sidi Bou Said- all recomendable.
