This is a very nice hotel. It's new and the employees there are obviously very proud of their hotel. Driving up the driveway is a bit scary because it's so steep. I wouldn't want to drive up there with a stick shift.
Rooms are spacious and well appointed, with very comfortable beds. The Molton Brown toiletries are nice, and each room has a balcony. The hotel also gives free wifi which is a definite plus.
Breakfast is great. They have all sorts of cold cuts, fruits, pastries, smoked fish, cheese, breads, olives, yogurts, cereals on the buffet table, and then eggs made to order, so that your plate of eggs is fresh every time. The coffee here is some of the best coffee I've ever tasted.
The negatives mostly deal with the location. It's pretty far from any beach, and Gumbet is basically like Cancun with lots of cheap, tacky bars, shops & restaurants. And the hotel is located on this high hill with two beautiful pools, but they get really windy and chilly even in the middle of summer because it's so high. Because of the location, I probably wouldn't go back. I'd rather stay at the Kempinski, or a hotel in Turgutreis or Turkbuku
