Loved the hotel from the begining. Cousy, quiet and elegant. The staff was quite attentive and the rooms were quite big and charming. The food in the restaurant was excelent. Loved the sitting room and the library. Looked like if you were in your own house and felt like the lord of the manor. I definitely will go back again.

We stayed in this hotel in May as friends were getting married in Carmona and held their reception in the Casa de Carmona. We absolutely loved this hotel! Booked a standard room but were upgraded to a junior suite which was just stunning - I love the antique/colonial style and for us it felt like good old fashioned luxury. The staff were helpful, friendly and all in all we had a fabulous stay here. The only downside was the fact that we had to leave again so soon, had we known how nice it would be, we would certainly have stayed longer! HOWEVER, If you're view on luxury is based on glass panneled lifts in a 300 room hotel with shops, animation and the like, this place is most definitely NOT for you!

We came here in February, off peak season. for 5 days with relatives . Our stay was nice,, but the place has not much to do with a five star hotel, rather a Maison d'hotes. If you look for confort, modern bathrooms, flat screen TVs and internet with a fabulous restaurant and high speed lift to get to your room , this place is definetly not for you ! If you look for a cosy place, a bit like an old family house with charm but with only basic confort and limited service, then have a try ! The room are a bit old adn very dark( small windows, nice in summer, a bit depressing in winter). Bathrooms would need a refurbishement. Breakfast is OK and served in a winter garden which is nice. Service is friendly but rather unefficient ! We like the place because of its character but it could be much better managed to reach a much higher rating without affecting the charm of the place

Con el título resumo mi estancia. Un hotel de 5 estrellas, página web precioso, folletos preciosos. Publicidad engañosa. Llegamos toda la familia (17 personas), con la reserva con dos meses de antelación y con la ilusión de pasar los últimos 3 días del año. La llegada fue caótica, sin tener muy claro qué habitaciones nos daban. Sin darnos camas a todos, por carecer de supletorias. La única que nos dieron, rota. Ya vimos el día 31 que sí tenían más, pero las reservaron para amigos del dueño. Dos de las habitaciones estaban plagadas de hormigas. Desconchones en las paredes, no siempre calefacción, no en todas agua caliente, sanitarios viejos, rotos...El bufet desayuno para reirse, por no llorar..escaso y malo. El servicio nada profesional, a excepción de alguna camarera/recepcionista que ni dormía. Las estancias para el servicio eran viejas, desordenadas y sucias. Solicitamos hablar con el responsable que llegó el día 30, pero no para hacerse cargo del caos del hotel, sino para celebrar su propia fiesta fin de año con sus allegados, olvidándose de los clientes, incluso relegándonos a un segundo plano, como si no fuéramos huéspedes. Cuando solicitamos hablar con él, era evasivo. Y nos decía que todo no podía ser perfecto(en un hotel de 5 estrellas no?), que nos hubiérmos ido a otro hotel ¿Quien le da los vistos bueno de control de calidad? Es denunciable. Hola a todos/as: Soy agente de viajes, y decidí conocer este hotel para darme un pequeño homenaje. Nos dieron una doble superior, preciosa, amplia y con una decoración muy conseguida. Sin embargo tenía una serie de inconvenientes, no propios de un hotel de esta categoría. La habitación tenía humedades en el techo, y el ropero olía mucho a humedad. Otro detalle negativo, a mi parecer, es que un hotel que cobra una media de 130 € por noche y habitación doble, no hace una descubierta de la cama del cliente por la noche, hoteles más económicos las tiene. En cuanto a su restauración, el desayuno muy corto, eso sí exquisitamente servido. Lo más destacable, su personal, muy amable y atento, y el edificio, precioso (del siglo XVI, creo) y de un romanticismo embriagador. Si quereis sorprender a vuestra pareja, esta es una buena opción.
