The hotel is situated at the principal entrance of the city, just beside the bridge "Arr�bida".The hotel is surrounded by commercial centres, cinema, theatres and la "Casa de la m�sica�.At just 10 minutes from the hotel there's the historic centre, the railroad station "S.Bento" and the wine warehouses "Vino Oporto". The restaurant has a capacity for 100 people with typical food from the region, although they also serve international food.

"We stayed at the Ipanema Porto hotel during March 2003. The rooms were plush featuring nice fittings, a large TV, lovely armchairs and the bed was very comfortable. The marble bathroom included great toilettries such as a toothbrush pack. The staff were professional but not overly friendly and the restaurant..."
