C’est un collègue de mon bureau en France qui a réservé pour moi dans cet hôtel, et quand j’ai lu les critiques j’ai éprouvé une certaine inquiétude. Je dois dire que je l’ai trouvé pas mal du tout. Le réceptionniste était serviable (il a même retrouvé le taxi où j’avais oublié on téléphone !). Ma chambre, de l’autre côté de la cour, était confortable et pourvue d’une belle salle de bain propre. Les zones communes étaient un peu défraîchies par endroit, mais ma chambre était bien. Pas énorme mais il y avait un lit double, un mini bar, de quoi se faire du thé et du café. Le seul problème c’est qu’il faisait trop chaud, même en éteignant le radiateur, les tuyaux étaient encore brûlants. Le petit déjeuner était limité, mais il y avait une bonne salade de fruits fraîche, des viandes froides, des œufs brouillés et des pâtisseries. Donc dans l’ensemble, cet hôtel correspondait à ce que je cherchais. Il se trouve dans le centre, près du château.

C’est l’hôtel le pire que je connaisse. Quand je suis arrivé après un long voyage, on m’a donné la clé de ma chambre, qui se trouvait dans le bâtiment annexe. J’ai dû traverser le jardin arrière – non éclairé – sous une pluie battante puis porter mes valises jusqu’au troisième étage, et c’est alors que je me suis rendu compte qu’on ne m’avait pas donné la bonne clé. Je suis descendu, on m’en a donné une autre : même résultat. Je suis donc redescendu, mais j’ai refusé de repartir tant qu’ils n’auraient pas trouvé la bonne. Au matin, le petit déjeuner consistait en un petit pain. Nous avons quitté cet hôtel le jour même et en avons cherché un autre. Si c’est tout ce que vous trouvez, je vous suggère de dormir plutôt sur le banc d’un parc.

Cet hôtel offre des services excellents : l'accueil, la situation, les repas au restaurant, les chambres, le petit déj... Tout était parfait... N'hésitez pas! Et profitez en pour visiter le château qui est à deux pas!

I was booked into this hotel by a colleague from my French office, and having read the reviews approached with trpidation. I have to say I didn't find it too bad at all. The receptionist was helpful (even tracking down the taxi I had left my mobile phone in!), my room was accross the courtyard and was comfortable, with a nice clean bathroom. The comunal areas were a little shabby in places, but my room was fine. Not huge, but had a double bed, mini bar, tea and coffee. The only complaint I have is that it was so hot, even when I turned off the radiator, as the pipes were still too hot to touch. Breakfast was limited, but had a good fresh fruit salad and a collection of cold meats & pastries, and scrambled eggs. So all in all, I found the hotel adequate for what I wanted. It is very centrally located, very close to the chateau.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, on arrival after a long journey I was given a key to my room which was in the annex. This was a walk through the back garden (unlit) in the pouring rain, I then had to carry my cases up three flights of stairs only to find that I had been given the wrong key. When back down to be given another key but had the same result, went down again and refused to go back until the correct key was found. In the morning we were given 1 roll for our breakfast, went out in the day and found another hotel. I would suggest if this is all that you can find then sleep on a park bench.
