The hotel is not easy to find if you arrive by car, but it is worth finding! It is located a 5 minute walk from the walls of the old town and 10 mins from the port. It has a large private and secure car park in a town where parking is a nightmare - park up and walk everywhere! Immediate impressions were positive: the hotel looks good inside and out and the staff on reception were all cheerful, friendly and spoke good English. We paid a little extra at €104 (high season) for a "Grand Comfort" room - very spacious with an enormous bed and a good size seating area. Well worth it for our 3 night stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean. Breakfast is an extra €9 each - a bit expensive but there was a good selection to eat and there were no real local alternatives. This is a good standard of accommodation at the price, and a very nice location in the verey attractive old town of Vannes where a 2/3 day visit allows you to see everything comfortably. Recommended. I booked through the hotel's own website - rapid confirmation.

Quand on arrive en voiture, cet hôtel n’est pas facile à trouver, mais il en vaut la peine ! Il est à 5 mn à pied de l’enceinte de la vieille ville et à 10 mn du port. Il dispose d’un grand parking privé sécurisé, dans une ville ou c’est un vrai cauchemar pour se garer – on peut y laisser sa voiture et faire tout à pied ! Il nous a tout de suite fait bonne impression : l’hôtel a belle allure de l’extérieur comme de l’intérieur, et tous les employés de l’accueil sont enjoués, sympas et parlent tous bien anglais. On a payé un peu plus cher (104 € en haute saison) pour avoir une chambre "Grand Confort", très spacieuse avec un immense lit et un assez grand salon. Comme on y a passé trois jours, cela valait le coup. C’est un hôtel d’une propreté exceptionnelle. Petit déjeuner en supplément à 9 € par personne – un peu cher mais il y avait beaucoup de choix et pas vraiment d’autres endroits où le prendre dans le quartier. Chambres tout à fait correctes pour le prix et très bel emplacement au cœur de la très pittoresque vieille ville de Vannes, qu’il faut bien 2 à 3 jours pour explorer à fond tranquillement. A recommander. J’avais réservé sur le site de l’hôtel qui m’avait confirmé la réservation très rapidement.

C'est une valeur sure à Vannes. Les chambres sont très correctes. Il y a un grand parking très pratique. En revanche, l'extérieur mériterait un sérieux coup de peinture !!!

This hotel is about 5 minutes walking from old Vannes. It is a bit hard to find but if you are coming by car just follow the signal posts with info about hotels. It has a huge free parking and it is an added value as the parking is not free in the surroundings streets. The breakfast is expensive but 100 meters away you have a nice patisserie where you can get a great breakfast much cheaper!! Our room was huge as they gave us a triple room (although we were only 2). We payed 90 eur because the high season, but I think the price is fair. All the bathrooms were renovated in Spring 2006, and all is well designed and brand new. The building is beatiful, has lift, and only 1 floor. I would recommend this hotel.

It is close enough to the vieille ville but a bit difficult to find from the railway station. The rooms were adequate and comfortable, and the staff was friendly enough. Non-smoking rooms were available, which was great.
