The hotel was clean, a bit out dated. It was such a terriffic deal that included skiing and the hotsprings. The walls are paper thin, but it is like that at even in the more expensive hotels in the area.
The staff was friendly. I would stay there again and reccommend it to friends and family.

My wife, 2 year old daughter booked a one nights stay at Affordable Inns in Glenwood Springs, Colorado on February 2008. We had checked it out online and found that the photos of the room were just another normal room which is fine with us, as we were going to get there about 7:00 or 8:00 pm. We onlly wanted a room for the night and then we would get up and go to the hot springs pool then off to Aspen. When we got to the hotel, we found it was not that nice. A little run down but still it was only for sleeping and then going off in the morning. We found that there was no running water. We call the front desk and they said it was not them but the water works and they were working on the problem as many hotels near by were also have the same problem. They said it would be fixed by morning. So when we went to sleep that night, we found ourselves being bit by something throughout the night. Bed bugs I supose. Then we had a knock on our door at about 7:30 - 8:00 AM for room service. We told her we were just getting up. She felt bad about it but I think that managment had told her to start her rounds. Then we found there was still no water. So I took ice and melted it in the micro wave so we could wash our faces and I could shave. We talked with the front desk when we checked out and asked for a discount. They said they couldn't do the discount. So we left. I will never stay there again nor will I ever tell anyone to stay there. I will advise anyone to avoid the Affordable Inns when ever posible.

We were very pleased with Affordable Inns. The room was clean, the staff courteous and friendly and the biscuits and gravy we had for continental breakfast were outstanding! Yes, the carpet is a little worn and the decor a little old, but we appreciated the rates since we were on a budget.
We would come back here!

This place is just fine. It was right on par with their prices. The front desk staff was friendlier than most motels in this price range. Everything in the room worked. TV, microwave, fridge, heater. Things were a bit long in the tooth, but we knew we weren't staying at the Ritz. Felt very safe. The continental breakfast was an unexpected touch in this price range. It was well maintained and the coffee was hot.
They have an outdoor hot tub that we did not use since we spent the whole afternoon at the Hot Springs Pool. It looked fine and the Hot Tub courtyard was cute.
There is not much to eat within walking distance. The Mexican restaurant two prosperities down was just fine - Dos Hombres. Nothing special - good fuel.
