Paradision is a small hotel (15 rooms) on a small hill overlooking the harbour. So if you are arriving by ship or ferry, it is a short 3-4 minute drive to Paradision. The view of the harbour from the room and across the hotel pool is fabulous. At night you can see rest of the island twinkling in the distance below you.
The hotel itself is immaculately maintained and has a cozy, warm feel to it. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The decor was nice. The hotel is much better than it looks in the pictures. Breakfast was very nice and everything used was fresh, ample and of high quality. Thankfully there were no shortcuts like canned fruit and other packaged food some hotels manage with.
Paradision is located very close to the center of the town. There is a bus stop at the base of the hill (100m from the reception). Taxis to town are only a few euros. Hence connectivity is not a problem. After one day we hired a car which made things even more convenient.
It is a family run hotel and the attitude of everyone we came across was superb. They were all very friendly and efficient and always ready to help and make our stay comfortable. The heartwarming genuine smiles of the family and their willingness to take pains in helping us with planning our time while in Mykonos won us over.
Would definitely recommend Paradision.

After several weeks of searching through the internet for a place to stay in Mykonos, I finally ended up with the Paradision. Several reasons - the reviews I read were good, I prefer to contact the property directly for bookings and their response was quick, and the rates they quoted were reasonable. I also wanted to stay on a hill with good views and the picture gallery was evidence of just that. So I made the booking for 5 nights and crossed my fingers.
My family and I (including 2 kids ages 4 and 3) arrived in Mykonos on July 19, 2007 and we hired a car directly from the airport. The hotel wasn't hard to find and was a 10 minute drive following the Tourlos or New Port sign. When we got there the road in front of the hotel was a very steep as with all the roads in Mykonos but there was ample parking, unlike some of the hotels closer to town.
To my relief the hotel was actually better than what was pictured on the website. We stayed in the double connecting room which was clean and spacious. The swimming pool was a decent size with a magnificent view over the beautiful ships arriving at new port. The staff were all very helpful and part of one big family. Breaksfast was provided every morning and after we got a bit bored with scrambled eggs on the third day the cook happily changed to fried eggs instead.
The rate the hotel quoted over the internet was EUR390/night for the 2 rooms. When I checked out they decided to charge me only EUR360 and mentioned that the discount was for my young kids. That really made me feel good because I was ready to pay EUR390 and unfortunately our other experiences in Greece have shown us that people do take advantage of tourists more often than not, if they have the opportunity to do so. So this was surely a welcomed gesture.
So if anyone is looking for a quiet place to stay in Myknos with good views, friendly service, reasonable rates, and short driving distances to the town and the numerous popular beaches, then choose the Paradision. You won't be disappointed.

We found this place on the internet and decided to spend our last 10 days of a six week trip to Europe here on the island of mykanos. The hotel itself is quite new, looking over the the ocean and the town of Mykanos itself. Great views from the rooms.(ours looked over the town the great swimming pool and the beautiful ocean as well). With a great view of all this high on the opposite hill facing the town.(we sat enjoying this for hours with a nice local red) The hotel is really welcoming and the people who ran the place did everything they could to help us in any way. It was really nice to stay in a place that felt as though you were welcomed into someones home.. Really well set out it really felt comfortable the whole time we were there. Close to the town it was i think the best place to stay that i saw in the time we were there. I could go on forever about how much i enjoyed this place and coming from a hospitality background its good to see someone that is so professional and good at what they do.. so clean and tastefully decorated rooms. I like to thank the guys expectialy Tasos(spelling??) for our great stay in there hotel and all the luck they deserve.. Maybe you guys should be running mykanos. Loz and Renee Australia
