We had arrived late in portland needing a place to stay since it was very late. Was able to get a room for me ad me friends pretty easy and on the cheap wich since were in a hurry was very important to us!
the rooms seemed very nice and all the fixetures worked well including the the fridge so in that regards it wasnt terrible the real pain came the next morning.
we got a phone call from the desk reminding us about checkout time and since we had booked for 2 nights i was a little confused so went up to the desk to find out what was going on and we found out that they didnt set our nights stay up correctly wich i assumed was maybe because we came in so late.
so after getting that issue fixed and getting the room payed for again we set out to enjoy a fun night in portland. now we left out room at about 1pm and got back at about 1am and thankfully we always take most of our bags with us !
showing up at 1am we couldnt get our keycard working to our room so went to check with the manager comes to find out even after getting the roomed payed until the following day they went ahead and had thrown out what stuff we had left in our hotle room and rerented it.
all the manager offered was another room and ge didnt seem to care that he had just tossed out my toilet kit and about $100 of my friends gear .
so dont even bother with these guys its so much hassle its not worth it

What can I say about this place

The rooms are fair and clean, but they don't always allow phone calls to go through. No direct room calls, they all have to go thru the front office, and thats a problem. They have many rules, they don't tell you when you first check in. I will keep you posted.
Only in an emergency would I stay here again

Great place to stay

I stayed in the Palms Motor Motel on Interstate Avenue on October 11th thru 14th, 2007. My room was excellent. Close to everything. The managers and staff were friendly. When I come to Portland next year for the Women of Faith Conference I will stay there again.
unsafe, loud, and not worth the savings

We booked ahead of time for $58 a night plus tax. We arrived, and they had forgotten our reservation, even though we confirmed twice with a credit card. They had a vacancy, so no problem. The rooms are somewhat clean, and it is close to the Maxx. However, on the second night, the police had to be called three times to the next door room. The management told us it was not their fault that the guests misbehaved and would not give us any sort of accommodation. Bob, the manager, was particularly unhelpful, and changes his story more than once. I would not stay there again and suggest you try another hotel on Interestate Avenue, as there were several.
