We stayed for one night on our trip to Minnesota. The single rooms are very small. The bathrooms are as big as the room, or so it seemed to me. The motel actually looks like a Microtel Inn, and may have been at one time. We used a coupon out of one of the traveler's guides and paid 40.00 on a Thursday night. Although the room was small, it was clean and quite acceptable for a one night stay. There are plenty of places to eat, and you can walk to Wal-Mart.
We didn't see any eggs or sausages on the breakfast buffet. There were biscuits and gravy, but they were out of gravy. The rest of the breakfast was the usual muffins and cereal.
The front desk staff, evening and morning, were very pleasant and friendly.

Stayed here for one night on our way to the Smokies. I booked online and paid $60 for a Saturday night. Our room had 2 queen beds, a fridge and microwave, coffee maker, a desk and a wardrobe/closet. The bathroom was a little small but fine. The furniture was a little worn but the room was clean and comfortable.
There is a nice indoor pool-not huge but it was not crowded. The breakfast area is small and breakfast only went until 9:30 which I thought was a little early. It was crowded so we took our food up to our room. They had juice, cereal, muffins, bagels, biscuits and gravy, and round sausage patties and round egg patties (?)-I made a bagel, egg and sausage sandwich and it was very good.
The hotel is located within walking distance of a Wal-Mart and a Golden Corral and a short drive to many other restaurants and stores. Easy on and off to the highway.
Checking in and out was a breeze and very friendly staff. I booked online before we went and we paid less than they were quoting walk-in's for a smaller room. If you wind up stopping without a reservation stop up the road at the Big Boy and get one of those hotel coupon books-if they have availability you may save some money.
All in all, I would recommend this as a good place to spend a night, especially for the price we paid for a Saturday night.
