I was in town for a Raiders game and found the Bay Breeze to be exactly what I was looking for. It was economical, no frills but clean and the staff very pleasant and nice. Only 15 minute walk to the Coliseum where the Raiders play. Not much in the area in terms of restaruants but cab service is a less than a mile away. If you are on a budget but want a clean and above average motel this is your spot !

I booked this hotel directly from the Bay Breeze Inn website. Reasons why this hotel is no good: Proximity: claims it's walking distance to Oakland coliseum- may be if you are doing it in the day light and you are not a single women with a young little girl. It is down an industrial street, very run down! Too far to walk!! Room: Horrible and disgustin. Food splatters on the wall and "other junk" dried and crusty all around including the ceiling!! On the tv!! Bed: Comforter had dried crusty food also!! yuck!! Floor: Don't walk barefooted!!! dirty dirty dirty! No clock! No Bible!!! Iron gate surrounds it, no one enters w/o being buzzed in- WARNING!

I was in town last month for 2 nights stay in weekend. Booked at Bay Breeze Inn. The room was clean. They also had Hair Dryer and Ironing boards. Good amenities for the price. They have good quality rooms and are cheapest in the area (near coliseum and oakland airport). I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get good value of their money by not spending almost twice as much in franchise hotels. John

I travel several days per week for my job so I stay in a lot of "budget" type motels. Do NOT stay at this motel. The people who run it seem very nice but the area is very rough and the hotel is extremely run down. It is really bad. Hotel competition in the east bay area is low. You are much, much, much better off going over to the San Francisco area where you will get a better hotel for the money.
