Throughout Residenza Antica Canonica, an atmosphere of times gone by still prevails, it has remained intact thanks to the restoration work that was respectful of the original structure. On the inside of the building we can admire the doorways made of pietra serena with ancient inscriptions, the lacunar ceilings and an important fresco from the 1500's that reproduces the famous Crucifixion by Raphael.
In this elegant relais of Citt� di Castello some interesting initiatives such as chamber music concerts and conferences are organised on a periodical basis.
