Hotel was very plain to say the least. No frills. Rooms very basic with small TV and small fridge, not much else to say. Pools were ok and grounds were quite nice. Food was ok, very friendly staff all round, but just not my kind of hotel. I like little luxuries such as Room Service and In room movies or at least 1 or 2 english channels to watch but this hotel really did not cater for foriegn visitors although there were plenty of elderly German tourists there so perhaps the hotel is advertising to a different market? I don't know. The bigest problem I had were the Mosquitos, I stayed for 2 nights and had to check out for the third night as I had scores of bites. The reception offered me a plug in repellent for €10.00 which I took but still no effect. I ended up going into the city of Padova to escape the critters and staying there.

Apart from the actual town of Abano Terme which was a let down this hotel made a disappointing holiday worse. staff and service was so rude and bad on first night and at breakfast the next day we had to complain to the manager. It did improve slightly after that for 2 nights and then went back to being awful again. I don't like making a fuss so also felt uncomfortable. the food continued to be rubbish throughout and mealtimes were during the evening opening times of the few shops in Abano Terme so buy the time we had crawled through dinner (due to VERY poor sevice) everything was shut or about to shut. Several spa things advertised were broken and no one told us you have to pay to see a doctor before you are allowed any treatments with the termal muds. wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE!!!!

La città di Abano Terme è stata una delusione e l’hotel non ha fatto che peggiorare la vacanza. Il personale è stato talmente maleducato e inefficiente la prima sera e a colazione da costringerci a lamentarci con il direttore. Il servizio è leggermente migliorato per due sere, per poi ritornare ad essere pessimo. Non amo creare problemi e mi sono dunque sentito molto a disagio. Il cibo è stato sempre tremendo e i tempi della cena corrispondevano agli orari di apertura serali dei pochi negozi di Abano Terme. Al termine di cene lunghissime (a causa del servizio PESSIMO) trovavamo tutti i negozi chiusi o sul punto di chiudere. Molte delle strutture termali pubblicizzate erano chiuse e nessuno ci aveva detto che avremmo dovuto sottoporci ad una visita medica per avere accesso a qualunque trattamento con i fanghi termali. Non lo consiglieremmo a NESSUNO!
